I bought this Nibbi carb when I purchased my Templar X 250 based on everything I read/saw on the internet saying that it was miraculous and the stock carb was junk. I am always skeptical when I see so much gushing. After I assembled, tested, and registered my bike, it was undesirable to pull it all apart to replace the carb when it was working "OK". This spring I have been riding tight, twisty, slow-speed trails and the throttle response of the stock bike was not smooth or easy to ride on very tight, just-off-idle twisties. It was time to replace the carb and see if the internet was right. Why did I ever doubt the internet?? What an incredible difference. NOW it rides like a proper well-tuned Japanese motorcycle. It was a bit of a pain to do the swap since that area is pretty snug, but nothing exceptionally difficult that patience cannot overcome. It started right up with just a touch of choke for about 5 seconds (the stock carb would need choke for maybe 5 minutes), tuned the idle, got the cables re-adjusted, and off I went. No re-jetting required. No fiddly tuning. I didn't think the difference would be as dramatic as it was, but holey moley. Now it's smooth and crisp down low. Very different than the OEM carb. No more coughs and stutters going from idle to just off idle. One of the most annoying things about the stock carb was that if you came honking up to a quick stop after a full-throttle run, and pulled the clutch in at idle it would occasionally stall without a blip of throttle. Not any more. It is just a cleaner, sharper running, more refined experience now. Nice and well worth the effort thus far!

I got a hawk 250X and the first carburetor I put on it was a 30 mm nibbi and then I downsized to this one and I'll tell you the 28 mm is the way to go because it has a lot more throttle response and a lot more power than the 30 mm on a 250 just make sure you tune it right I set mine up just for example I left the clip on the needle the way it came and I put the biggest jet in it for the mid-range and for the idle and it runs awesome

This carb works excellent on my 6.5 Subaru/Robbins engine on my go kart. I had to change one jet to a smaller size, but the carb comes with different size jets so you can tune it accordingly. I figured with the removal of the governor, the motor could run better with a bigger and better carb. I was right and this is exactly what it needed. 4 stars because there's always room for improvement, in everything.

Installed this on my Templar X. While the stock carb wasn’t bad, it was finicky. I couldn’t ever get it really dialed in. This one was dialed in and running flawlessly within 10 minutes of finishing the install. Bike runs stronger, smoother, and cooler now. Totally 100% worthy upgrade.

The media could not be loaded. My 1986 lt125 Suzuki has been running badly for a while and not idling and the oem mikuni carb even used is over a hundred bucks, I saw a lot of reviews about these being used on out bikes with great results and figured it was worth a try. I got the 24 which fit my intake boot on the engine side but was big on the air filter side. The carb fit right on and throttle went on perfect, fired up first pull and had a huge dead spot. After changing the pilot and main a couple times I ended with a 40 pilot and 115 main and she purrs like a kitten now. Great quality carb for the price I will likely buy another if I ever need a carb

The oring at the top is held in with glue and ends up sending the glue into the carb. The oring isn't held in with anything besides glue and once gas reaches the oring, the glue separates and the oring falls off and won't stay in place. Once the oring falls off, you can't use this carb..

Installed on a Chinese 250cc crate bike. Easy install, good tuning directions. Shipped with a #40 pilot jet installed which was too large. Replaced with the #35 pilot jet (included) and bike now starts instantly and runs very smooth and strong. Instant throttle response. Very happy with this purchase. Great job, Nibbi!!
