Pretty upset. Yes I understand this was refurbished however, I think if they did a product check then they would have know it wasn’t fixed. It won’t even charge. So much for a great Christmas present. My son is so disappointed.

I’ve been using the 9.7 inch iPad Pro (1st generation) for a while now, at least 2 years most likely, and it’s been wonderful as my main portable computer. As a hobbyist artist it’s been fantastic, but I bought it mere months before this second generation released. Even before that I felt the size was fine, until I got my hands on a 12 inch pen display for my pc. Ever since I’ve been craving the larger size, but couldn’t afford it. Until now, that is. And what a delightful time it’s been on this roomy display. As an upgrade to the first generation it’s been worthwhile, especially for the admittedly subtle “pro motion” 120 hz capable display. Art, particularly drawing, has felt life-like. I believe the first time I tried one of the second iPad pros in the apple store I used the word “transcendental.” Possibly (quite heavily actually) quite a hyperbolic word, but it’s something I feel like I’d miss going back to other displays and devices. As a lesser device to the third generation pro I personally find no down side. I’m not a fan of Face ID. I’m not a fan of the lack of a home button even though I know I’d be able to get used to it quickly. The display on the third gen is much better, and the overall smaller footprint of the new iPad is much improved when you consider this beast has a 13 inch display. I don’t feel like I don’t have a top quality product, though. And the gap between this generation and the 3rd isn’t big enough for me to feel like I’m left out of something great. With the upcoming iPadOS I look forward to basically replacing my laptop with this. It’s worth mentioning that the refurb I got was in superb condition. If I was handed it in an actual apple box I likely wouldn’t have noticed. Apart from a minuscule scratch on the apple logo it’s in mint condition. However, like others I also received the wrong wattage USB adapter for charging. Be sure to already have a 12 watt charger on hand if you want it to charge fully, properly, and rapidly. Luckily I still had my own. Overall the low price is a great deal considering how nice my unit’s condition was in. I don’t regret it a bit and look forward to 2 or 3 years with this iPad. ... show more

I decided to upgrade to a 12.9 inch iPad Pro from a 10.5 inch only for the screen size. I decided to get a refurbished iPad from Amazon, and it was a great decision. I purchased from Gryphon Commerce (Fulfilled by Amazon). Although the iPad Pro did not come in an Apple box, it was shipped with a lot of protection--plastic bubble wrap and a lot of packing paper. It came in a small box within a larger box. included within a small ziplock was an Apple block and Apple charging cable. The iPad is absolutely perfect except for a tiny light scratch in the back, which does not bother me. I placed a Speck case on it right away, and it looks absolutely brand new. The screen is perfect as well. The iPad came charged and setting it up was a breeze. My husband was even surprised and thought I had bought a new iPad from the Apple store. There was a small issue with charging. I charged it overnight, and it only charged to 94%. I noticed I did not use an Apple charging cable. Once I hooked it up to the Apple cable, it charged to 100% within 10 minutes. All in all, I am extremely happy with my purchase so far. I have watched Netflix, completed some school work, doodled in Procreate, completed some digital journaling, took some screen shots, and just played around with it--there have been no issues.
