This Ipad is good for its price, but I also put my iCloud from my iPhone on there to be able to download apps that need ios 16, so make sure you do that so your satisfied with your purchase. Also, the side of the ipad does overheat due to it being an older version and of certain apps containing more features than others, so if you want, you should buy a better battery for the ipad. Overall, I love this iPad it’s pretty good. It definitely doesn’t overheat while charging unless you’re running the ipad doing stuff. It came on time! And it also has only 16GB and it takes up 8GB! ... show more

Arrived earlier than expected! In excellent condition, looks like new!! Charged immediately, beautiful colors, definitely worth the price!!! Battery takes a little longer to charge than my cell phone but is sure faster than my old Apple Mini IPad!!! So well pleased and having a previous Apple IPad made setting it up so easy!! Stay away. Not worth it. Unit worked good for a few months. Then it ran out of storage space due to the “other” section taking up almost 7 of the 16 gig hard drive. What a joke. No support or caring from seller. They got their money. Battery doesn’t last. Freezes in apps constantly and has to be turned off and back on. What 5 year old wants to deal with all this. Gonna use it as a Frisbie from now on I guess. Thanks Jem Jem. We have been burnt by their portable TVs for the car also. Same thing. They don’t wanna hear it or help. ... show more

    • Throw away the chargers and cubes!
I ordered 2 of these iPads for my kids for school. Plugged them up to fully charge while I downloaded updates and did the initial setup. Shortly after plugging them up I noticed both devices would beep every 10-20 seconds like the charging would stop and start every few seconds. About an hour later I noticed neither of them were charging even though iPad said they were. Then I started smelling a burning electrical smell. I went to unplug both devices and both cubes were extremely hot. I smelled both cubes and it was clear that is where the burning electrical smell was coming from. I threw away both cubes and used two others I had and the problem went away. I did notice though that it still took significantly longer to fully charge the iPads than it does using actual Apple chargers. For example if one of the iPads is plugged in but still being used it really won’t charge, but with actual Apple charger it charges just fine while still being used. It also takes 5-6 hours to fully charge iPad using cords that were provided vs 2-3 hours using Apple charger. Other than that the iPads are in good condition. They came with screen protectors on which is nice, though I think they do that because it hides surface scratches on the actual screen making it appear as if it has a flawless screen. This is a very good basic tablet, and probably more than basic. At this time in Feb. 2020, you get the latest iPad OS, but might not get the next big update. I was very surprised to receive a screen cover and cheap plastic case too! My kid uses the iPad for speech therapy, so I didn't need anything special, just an iPad. Regarding battery life. My kid has used the device for perhaps a couple of hours over two days and the battery is still above 90%! ... show more

    • It runs slower than your 83 year old grandma
The Ipad works good it just runs slower than your 83 year old grandma. Like your old Xbox 360 it gets really hot and it charges slow, like really slow, I put it on the charger for 30 minutes and it only charged to 15%, that pissed me off fr. Its battery also drains a little fast. So maybe buy from Walmart or BestBuy or even Backmarket. I've seen better reviews & prices there after purchasing this. Also they wouldn't let me cancel this order before it shipped so I just kept it since it isn't so bad 😕. I didn't use the apple charger block that came with it because the other reviews said that the blocks were blowing up or something like that so I threw it away. ... show more
