I was looking for a new keyboard for my Mac. I had just gotten a present with enough money to buy this. At first, I believed that $100 was too expensive for a keyboard. However, I have a mac, so I wanted an Apple keyboard with an Apple computer. I was impressed with the overnight shipping, and connecting it to my Mac via Bluetooth was super easy and only took about one-two minutes. I'm super impressed with how the keys feel. Each one works perfectly fine. My favorite part about this keyboard is battery life. It lasts well over a month for me, really about two months I'd say. And charging is also very quick. The best part about charging is you can use it while charging because it will charge and automatically stay connected to your computer when plugged into it. However, the one thing I don't suggest doing with this keyboard is using it with multiple devices. Mine had some trouble reconnecting my Mac after I used it with a different device. In conclusion, this is an amazing keyboard that is definitely worth its $100 price tag. ... show more

The battery charge last a very long time . My old keyboard letter 'y' became very fussy and not desriring to imprimt that letter. This was disturbing to my typing, of course. I had to replace the battery powered Apple keyboard for this new and much improved USB-C keyboard. I am very pleased with it.

This is exactly how i wanted this keyboard to be because when i played games on my laptop i loved the scissor-switches and i was able to type fast with itand i was trying to find a keyboard that matches that feel and when i found the apple magic it was so suprising how easy it was to use and the "magic" part really showed for me because when i connected it via bluetooth to my laptop it never died!!? and it felt like there was no input delay or lag between the connection with a simple keyboard structure this helped me dominate spelling bee games ... show more

    • Great keyboard, amazing feel and quality, a bit expensive, but no back illumination or battery bar?

I bought this keyboard to pair with my older 2018 Mac Mini. It is a good keyboard and the feel is very nice. Typing for extended periods is good on my hands and I've always been a fan of Apple. I can use the keyboard from 15 feet away (I haven't tried anything further than that) and the battery life seems to be good so far. There is 3 things I don't like though: 1. I thought this was back-illuminated but haven't been able to turn it on and 2. it is over-priced for a keyboard and 3. why wouldn't I be able to see the remaining battery life on the keyboard? Despite those 3 downsides, it is a good keyboard overall and I'd recommend these keyboards to anyone looking to get the whole quality Mac experience. I wish the price was cheaper but that's ok for me. If you need something more affordable, there are tons of other keyboards like this (like Macally) that will work fine and cost under half of what this does. ... show more
