This notebook also has an integrated 720p FaceTime HD webcam, a thin, backlit "second generation" butterfly mechanism keyboard with an integrated new "Touch Bar" that replaces the traditional function keys with a touch-sensitive control that adapts for different applications and provides Touch ID login support, and a gigantic "Force Touch" trackpad. Additionally, it has a high- resolution LED-backlit 13.3" widescreen 2560x1600 (227 ppi, 500 nits) "Retina" display, and a integrated battery that provides an Apple estimated 10 hours of runtime. Came dirty , it’s not turning on & I literally just got it in the mail 5mins ago I start college tomorrow and now I’m out of 300$ something and a laptop this is so selfish and disgraceful I don’t understand how they are still in business! What a great value! I got this for my daughter cause she had to have a mac book. I thought it was going to be a $1,000. Nope it was less then half the price I thought, so she was able to get a case, screen protector, keybord skins, and a mouse. And we came no where near $1,000. i got this refurbished MacBook in feburary and I wanted to wait a while before making this review. For a refurbished acceptable MacBook that was $299 this is definitely worth the price and and is pretty good. The MacBook they gave me was a 2016 version. A little old but it still runs completely fine! Just know if u play games like Roblox or sims the macbook will heat up pretty quickly and lose battery pretty fast. Overall I think this MacBook was very good for the price and worth it! I would definitely recommend this for schoolwork, or editing. ... show more

What can I say about what I hate about this macbook? How about EVERYTHING. The keys are too shallow so half the time they don't type or type all together without spaces. I have to retype constantly and I never do with any other mac or computer I have ever used. The thing shuts off intermittently. The battery life is the worst I have ever had. This pile of junk is a complete waste of money. Instead of buying this garbage maybe set a pile of money on fire. It's far less aggravating. ... show more
