This notebook also has an integrated 720p FaceTime HD webcam, a thin, backlit "second generation" butterfly mechanism keyboard with an integrated new "Touch Bar" that replaces the traditional function keys with a touch-sensitive control that adapts for different applications and provides Touch ID login support, and a gigantic "Force Touch" trackpad. Additionally, it has a high- resolution LED-backlit 13.3" widescreen 2560x1600 (227 ppi, 500 nits) "Retina" display, and a integrated battery that provides an Apple estimated 10 hours of runtime. This notebook is offered in either silver colored aluminum or a darker "Space Gray" colored aluminum housing (but not other colors) and weighs just a bit more than 3 pounds (1.37 kg). Mac itself was in great condition. Good speed, no lag. Lightweight, sleek dark gray finish. Only frustration is the charger it came with doesn’t work. It worked a few times within the first week, then completely died. The charger was lightweight and cheap, and not an original Apple product. The laptop is very clean appears to be brand new, however the battery life is terrible. The battery hold only up to an hour and a half max. Can't leave home without charger because it will die.

What can I say about what I hate about this macbook? How about EVERYTHING. The keys are too shallow so half the time they don't type or type all together without spaces. I have to retype constantly and I never do with any other mac or computer I have ever used. The thing shuts off intermittently. The battery life is the worst I have ever had. This pile of junk is a complete waste of money. Instead of buying this garbage maybe set a pile of money on fire. It's far less aggravating. ... show more

When you hear the word "renewed" many think of previously owned objects with scratches, dents, and dirt. Despite the reviews of those who received faulty MacBooks, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the computer looked brand new. There were little to no marks on the outer shell, the screen looked as if it had never been touched before, and the keyboard was spotless. Although, the box came with no official apple packaging and the charger was third-party, the solid drive was wiped clean and the physical aspects were flawless.
