Very pleased with this MacBook. Shipment was very fast. Came clean and spotless, like new, with Apple charger. Performance the past two days has been perfect, and I have tried all the basics; music, video, MS office apps, browsing, etc. Now, I am not a power user, gamer or programmer, so I can’t speak to performance at those levels, but for me it is perfect. This 2020 MacBook is the best laptop I have used. It’s fast, great new upgraded keyboard and plenty of storage. Very happy with this purchase. Perfect condition at a great price.     • Not Up to "Renewed" Standards - (Computer battery didn't last over 6 months)

I want to emphasize that the product is supposed to be "renewed". Meaning that it should be working and show signs of wear (like a used item). These things are usually signs of cosmetic damage, wear, cracked screens being replaced and things like so. Manufacturers tend to sell Refurbished items that are carefully inspected and any malfunctioning parts are replaced and the item is resold in a "like-new" condition, hence the term "refurbished" instead of "used". I purchased a computer in March on this year that I have NOT used much due to not going on many trips this year. The computer was in GOOD working condition (still, has no issues) but about a month or so ago the battery started acting up. Typically a refurbished item from a manufacturer provides a warranty since the item should be in "like-new" condition, but this seller does not. With that in mind, it is safe to assume that the listing is not accurately describing the items that are being sold. They are NOT renewed, since nothing about them is new besides the "cleaned out storage". The computer was still showing signs of wear, the cable was still not an OEM charger, and as noted the computer didn't last very long. In the case of buying something in this used beat up condition (or like the listing says "renewed") I would advise against that and recommend purchasing a newer model that is new through a payment plan. I took this "renewed" computer to apple and they told me that the replacement battery for the computer would cost me about 350$ when I only paid about 500$ for the "renewed" computer. I reached out to the seller, in an effort to avoid posting a bad review describing the lack of quality control and the failure to list the computer as "used" rather than "renewed/refurbished", and still, to no luck, they said there was nothing I could do since the "return" window was closed. I won't say that all their computers are defective, but I was unfortunately one of the few with a bad one. ... show more

I really like my Macbook. After only spending $600 on a Macbook worth a lot more I was very happy. Even though the battery life was short compared to my Dell, it performed well. I am returning it for a better price I am getting through family, but if this opportunity never came about I would have enjoyed and kept this computer. (Downsides: the charger is SMALL, has short battery life, gets hot, and the fan kicks on after only a little bit.) Other than that, it's a great computer for a great price. Laptop Quality is pretty good a little bit of scratches on the sides but other than that , picture is clear , fast , efficient for school work . i had to do 2 software updates when i first got mine after those 2 updates i haven't been able to use the touch id only works sometimes . def a great value for money ... show more

Firstly came in an off brand packaging so got skeptical. Everything was in it, a charger and the MacBook. You can tell the MacBook has been used, scratches all over it. Came dead so had to charge it. The battery is pretty crappy and it overheats pretty quick. The v key is pretty busted and barely useable. It is my first MacBook and can’t afford a new one so it is good enough for me. ... show more
