If you are looking for a used computer do your research elsewhere. I can say the seller sold me what was described and it arrived on time. Very happy. Now I have to support the idea of buying used gear; if your application does not need the power (and expense) of a new machine look to the used market. Less than $300- for a machine that will fully function in the task at hand without having unused memory or processing power is good business. (You don't buy an F1 car to use as a taxi!) ... show more

Bought this back in 2021, I do not use this mac mini as a primary desktop, I only bought this for apple development apps. Have only used this device on the count of 5 times since purchased and opened. After sinking money for an apple developer account, the mac mini, and getting the software needed from the apple store. Today 5/11/22 is the 6th time I turn the mac mini on. It has become soo slow you cannot do anything with it, just a loading wheel. Deleting files out of the trash been has been a major pain, apple keeps counting files upwards of 15,000 when I never had that many files to begin with. Still has not deleted all of them, Utility app says ssd usage is 100% and ram is sitting at 27gb out of 32. with low cpu usage. NOTHING IS RESPONDING and been sitting waiting all day long to try and trouble shoot what's wrong with this paperweight rather than do what I bought this box of crap to do. I am not 1 staring this because of the seller, I'm 1 staring this because I am livid pissed at spending the kind of money for this overpriced box to do nothing but eat my electric bill. What i recommend to anybody who is just getting into apple development and XCode, JUST DONT DO IT. You will need to buy an iPhone in order to make it happen with NO GUARENTEE that your app will even make it to the apple store without them disapproving the app review and asking for all this random legal documentation that you never have or needed in the first place. ... show more

I got this refurbished from Amazon and can’t complain about its performance. To date we have had zero issues with the computer itself and it runs amazing. I was able to hook up all of my daughter’s peripherals easily. It is quite a setup and she is thrilled. I will admit that the shipping information wasn’t accurate at all. I ordered a few weeks before Christmas and it came JUST in time. I will allow extra shipping time for refurbished items moving forward. The Mac Mini physically does have some cosmetic damage. More than I was expecting. My daughter doesn’t kind but I think damage like that should be shared prior to purchase. I've only had this Mac Mini for 2 weeks now and the only complaint I have is there is a small ding on the top corner of the unit, otherwise its perfect! It boots-up quick, runs smooth and had no trouble updating to the latest version of Monterey, which is the OS it came with. I'll update this post in a few weeks with the good or bad news.
