I loved my ipood classic-- a device that worked perfectly like a well oiled machine in a very user friendly way. I only purchased this "improved" device becauseAapple shut down the classic system and no longer allowed users to purchase and add music, forcing users to purchase this new device. It is clumsy and not user friendly at all. The fonts are so small they are very difficult to read. Getting in and out of functions is very hard and non sensical. The pause button doesnt really work. You can pause, of course, but as soon as the device goes to sleep, the pause is cancelled and you have to go back to the begining, getting back into your podcast or playist and then trying to figure out where you were.Sometimes the device wont let me resume my podcast, while I am out walking, telling me "you're offline", which makes no sense since the podcasts are downloaded. Soemtimes the download just diosappears for no reason, forcing the user tio keep downloading the same things over and over.Syncing used to be simple with the old classic-- you just plugged it into your tower and it would sync poerfectly and automatically,. Now syning is a multi step function that only works haphazardly, assuming you can even figure out how to do it. i cant imagine what Apple was thinking when they changed to THIS!??! ... show more
