  • Best quality and easiest application
As a former nail tech I can confirm that this may be an oldie but goodie, but it still works best for acrylic nails

  • Defective product
I have purchased this item several times over the years. I have always used this product and sounds to be great. I don’t know what’s happened to the most recent batches, but they are not the same. You put it on your nail and it comes right off. The only way to make it work would be to wait and wait for it to dry and most time it does not dry. You apply the glue to it and then rub it right off your finger. It also used to appear to be clear on your nail once you put the glue on it and now even if you were lucky enough to get it to dry, it stays white. It is now the worst item I’ve ever purchased and have wasted my money on. I’d like to know from the company why this is happening. ... show more

  • Terrific for repairing a smashed fingernail until it can grow out. Terrific for repairing a smashed fingernail until it can grow out.
I sustained an injury to my finger when a window slammed on the nail bed. It left a purple bruise (subungual hematoma). It only hurt for a few hours and didn't look that bad. When the nail and bruise began to grow out it left a quarter inch gap across the nail. Although there was nail there it was cracked, very thin and was very sensitive to touch. I decided to try this stuff when I got tired of wearing band-aides to protect it. It works, big time. I also bought the 5 second nail glue which doesn't come with the powder. I painted a layer of the glue, dusted on the powder, sanded a bit, repeated a couple of times until the gap was filled. No pain, perfect repair. Since I'm a guy I don't care if it doesn't look perfect. Even though I was sloppy putting it on it looks great. Feels a big gritty so I will buff it down a bit. Bottom line: If you are someone who works with their hands and damages a nail, this stuff is a miracle fix, especially if you do serious damage. UPDATE: I tried this stuff at least a few months after the injury. Up to that point I used a ton of band-aides to cover it. If anything touched the thin nail bed or stressed the end of the nail it hurt like hell. I didn't take any pics before the repair. I highlighted the pic to show cracks to the quick and the area where the nail bed was exposed or the nail was very thin. This stuff is amazing. I am super glad I found it. ... show more

  • WARNING -- photo shows three, but you only get ONE
I've used this for years when needed, at least 30, and used to be able to buy it at a national beauty supply chain but can't find it any more. Glad to find it here, but photo clearly shows THREE bottles yet you only receive one. Under normal circumstances I prefer brush-on nail glue since it's easier to control, but have to use the glue in a tube with this. I quickly learned to apply several very thin coats because one thick coat will crack - and the glue is more likely to flood the cuticle if you apply a lot. Also, don't buff smooth between coats so the layers have something to grip. In my experience this works better than a fiberglass repair, but not as well as acrylic. ... show more

  • IT WORKS!!!
THIS IS IT!!! This, paired with the 5-Second Gel Resin, protected the vertical split in my nail until it could grow out and be clipped off. 100% recommend. The two together create an incredibly hard, durable, protective coating on your nail, so that it can grow out without the split being exacerbated by the wear and tear of daily life. I was terrified I was never going to be able to stop the splitting. THIS DID. Depending on low long your split is you may need to use the combination of the two a few times over the course of a few weeks. It took about 4 weeks for mine to grow out. My nail is as good as new now. So incredibly relieved!!! ... show more

  • Fill it in!
This powder works well filling in the cracks that I get in my nails sometimes. So much easier than the tea bag method let me tell you. You just brush the glue onto the nail to be fixed and then sprinkle some of the miracle powder over that; brush away the excess powder and let it dry, which doesn't take too long. You can then buff down the roughness until the nail is nice and smooth, and then paint with your favorite color. I have read other people say they have a problem with too much of the powder coming out, but I haven't experienced that. I do place some tissue underneath my hand and very carefully pour the powder directly onto the nail. It's like shaking out salt; just a couple of shakes will be enough. Brushing off the powder will be the most that is wasted, but if you catch it with a tissue you can reuse if you want to do a second layer of glue and powder just to make it a little stronger hold; which I do recommend. ... show more
