works great and i love it, but the ear buds that came with it were not working properly, i wasnt getting full sound out of them, it was interesting to hear my songs in that way, very weird. no big deal for me though, i buy my ear buds at dollar tree!

Unit shows up in decent shape but the battery they send you is useless. I charged it to a full 100% and it runs down within the hour. I had all wifi/bluetooth/screen settings turned off and it still was dead on arrival. $139 is WAY too much to pay for a device that you then have to go buy another battery for. There are better options out there - I just went back online and looked. Their support people said they will not send a replacement battery. DO NOT BUY FROM TETCHYTECH!!!!!!!!

Got it with in 3 days(I guess 2 because Sundays don't count) because I live one state over. The package was sealed tight so I felt good about people not opening it to see what was inside(happened before), but the ipod plastic case was chipped a little,Ipod its self was perfectly fine! Had some difficulty actually being able to start it (mainly because I don't understand technology) but charger, and head phones work, looks nice, and explored it and found no problems... yet.

Physically it’s in good condition, however, the battery life is awful. We purchased this for our daughter’s birthday and unfortunately will be returning it because the battery life was terrible. We set it up the night before and charged it fully since it was showing a red battery indicator out of the box. Once it was set up and fully charged, we turned it off to preserve the battery. When we turned it on after she opened it, the battery level was low so we charged it again to full. The battery didn’t even last 30-45 minutes before showing a red battery indicator. We figured maybe it was due to all the iMessages and FaceTime calls she was getting for her birthday initially, but even afterwards, when it was fully charged again, it was dying quickly with minimal use. It also kept failing to backup to iCloud and after troubleshooting it appears to be a hardware issue. It does have some blemishes but that wasn’t an issue since it was going to be in a case anyways. Since this is a 6th gen, it also can’t get some of the apps that you might want to use like Spotify because the older iOS version is no longer supported. There is a work around of signing in on a supported iOS version and downloading the apps that are no longer supported or if you already had those apps prior. That will allow you to download the older app versions on the 6th Gen. Other than that and the battery issue, this is a great introductory device for a kiddo.

On a positive point the device looks great. Out of the box it almost looked brand new, could not find a scratch. On a negative point, battery life could have been better. Does not hold a charge very long.
