    • A fantastic price for a perfectly refurbished iPad Pro
Buying this certified refurbished was a smart way to go. It arrived in perfect condition, not a mark on it. Seemed brand new, The cell option works great (Many services, like Tracfone, won’t let you use tablets; however, prepaid Straight Talk does, starting at $15 per month, which is the cheapest US tablet option I have found so far.). I also used it successfully with a SIM card in China, as well. I doubt I will go back from having the cellular option, just so nice to be able to access data when traveling. (And while hotspots might seem like an options, it can involve tons of waste and leakage of GB, since your device will think it is wireless mode with a hotspot, and won’t stop playing videos, etc. without a lot of manual intervention). I prefer onboard cell service with SIM cards, Pros and cons to this size vs, 12.9”. I feel fortunate to have both in our family, so swap back and forth. I prefer the size of the 12.9” screen for reading intensive work. But for traveling and/or for watching something while I move about the house, I definitely prefer this size. As for Pro vs. not Pro, if you don’t think you will want the (super cool Apple Pencil), it may not be worth the price differential to you. Most iOad users (ie not artists, etc) probably won’t really notice the difference between a Pro and their less fancy iPad cousins. Even my crazy old 3rd generation iPad still does great (...except that Apple has stopped updating the iOs for it with its planned obsolescence approach to its customers, grrrr...) This purchase helped to give me confidence in Certified Refurbished products, b/c the minor risk of issues was outweighed by the big price difference. ... show more

I received this a few days ago. It arrived in a plain brown box, with a minimal amount of bubble wrap in the box. It was in a thin bubble wrap sleeve. There was a separate sleeve with a gas station quality 3 foot blue lightning cable, and a cheap Chinese 1 amp charger that I wouldn’t even use for my phone. This would never charge the iPad properly. The device itself appears flawless. I would swear that I had received an Apple refurbished device if I didn’t know better. Powered on immediately with a partial charge. When hooked to my normal iPad charger, it rapidly charged this iPad. The screen is beautiful. The software was configured correctly, and I quickly had it running on my iCloud account to sync it. I am totally impressed with the big sound that the 4 speakers exude so easily. This is what all my former iPads should have sounded like! I cannot comment on the battery life. It will take several day of use for the battery monitor to provide useful information. I highly encourage the purchase of the 4 year extended warranty. Since this was a third party refurbisher, I don’t have any expectations about their work. Better to have protection....... I had a chat with Amazon customer service about the charger. I explained about its deficiencies, and provided an Amazon link to a genuine Apple iPad wall charger. The nice lady gave me a gift credit for the cost of the correct charger. I have plenty of good cords, so I call this a win. I must say I’m happy with my choice and purchase. My only regret is I didn’t spend a few $$ more and get the 256 gb memory model I’ve never had an iPad that had cellular capabilities. I’m looking forward to this capability. Slaving my iPad Air2to my iPhone hotspot works, but I only get so much data per month with the hotspot. ... show more

Falsely advertised as "Excellent Condition," along with Amazon Renewed description that stated: "This product is in "Excellent condition". The screen and body show no signs of cosmetic damage visible from 12 inches away." Item was substantially damaged and battery could not be charged. Immediate returned to Amazon in its original box. Amazon received the item but would not process the refund without further delay. After two calls, they now want to take 14 days to process the refund. WILL NEVER TRUST AMAZON RENEWED AGAIN. Great iPad especially for the price. It said renewed, so I was suspicious, but everything worked great on it. Checked the camera , speakers, microphone, and screen no issues. If I had to find an issue with this iPad, it would be the button sticks once in a while and the battery is not 100%. But that is kind of to be expected as it is renewed. I purchased for my son, this was perfect for him, he downloads a ton of games so the extra space is well needed! It’s not running slow. Yes it did arrive dead but so does every other used iPad Ive ever purchased from any other buyer. We charged it over night and it’s working great! We set everything up easily!
