I’ve been using the 9.7 inch iPad Pro (1st generation) for a while now, at least 2 years most likely, and it’s been wonderful as my main portable computer. As a hobbyist artist it’s been fantastic, but I bought it mere months before this second generation released. Even before that I felt the size was fine, until I got my hands on a 12 inch pen display for my pc. Ever since I’ve been craving the larger size, but couldn’t afford it. Until now, that is. And what a delightful time it’s been on this roomy display. As an upgrade to the first generation it’s been worthwhile, especially for the admittedly subtle “pro motion” 120 hz capable display. Art, particularly drawing, has felt life-like. I believe the first time I tried one of the second iPad pros in the apple store I used the word “transcendental.” Possibly (quite heavily actually) quite a hyperbolic word, but it’s something I feel like I’d miss going back to other displays and devices. As a lesser device to the third generation pro I personally find no down side. I’m not a fan of Face ID. I’m not a fan of the lack of a home button even though I know I’d be able to get used to it quickly. The display on the third gen is much better, and the overall smaller footprint of the new iPad is much improved when you consider this beast has a 13 inch display. I don’t feel like I don’t have a top quality product, though. And the gap between this generation and the 3rd isn’t big enough for me to feel like I’m left out of something great. With the upcoming iPadOS I look forward to basically replacing my laptop with this. It’s worth mentioning that the refurb I got was in superb condition. If I was handed it in an actual apple box I likely wouldn’t have noticed. Apart from a minuscule scratch on the apple logo it’s in mint condition. However, like others I also received the wrong wattage USB adapter for charging. Be sure to already have a 12 watt charger on hand if you want it to charge fully, properly, and rapidly. Luckily I still had my own. Overall the low price is a great deal considering how nice my unit’s condition was in. I don’t regret it a bit and look forward to 2 or 3 years with this iPad. ... show more

I would give it zero stars if I could. If you buy from this company after reading my review and it goes south and you want someone to blame, look in the mirror. I bought an iPad from this company roughly 8 to 9 months ago. I was stupid in that. I did not get the two year warranty. Roughly having it for eight months it just seized up. I could not reset it, could not get it to start, it just froze up And will not turn on. So I thought maybe it was aone off, meaning I just got a bad one. So I bought another one about a month ago, this time got the two year warranty. The second one is also a piece of garbage, the touchscreen barely works when it does, I constantly have to beat on a letter, or number to try to get it to work. So I’m sending the second one back after three weeks to a month. They claimed it as a 12.9 inch iPad, it’s not, it’s roughly 13.1 inch and you can’t find a case for it. I bought two different 12.9 inch cases and neither one of them fit. So they lied off the bat. If they lie about the screen size, what else would they do? ... show more

BuySpry has gotten a bad rap in the comments. I could not disagree more. I bought a top of the line, 12.9" iPad Pro 512Mb with wifi/cellular and am ecstatic with it. The price was great, the shipping was free and prompt, and the iPad came just as described. There were a few light scratches on the back, but you can't see them through the ZUGU Case, which I put on immediately. The screen was crystal clear, but I covered it with a TechArmour screen protector, anyway. Gotta keep my tablet safe! Once I got this monster protected, it was time to play! Well, almost. I got the iPad the day after the new iPadOS debuted, so I downloaded that first, iMazing second. iMazing shows that the battery is at 96% life, with 87 charging cycles. I won't complain about the AC adapter, because I just threw it in the drawer with the rest of them, and plugged the iPad into my laptop. The other accessory I bought was the Apple Pencil. Since I bought the 2017 iPad, I had to buy the original pencil. The new one won't work. Paired with a 12.9" iPadPro, the Pencil opens up a virtual art studio anywhere. I ended up buying the TechMatte charging stand for the pencil, because it seemed too awkward to charge it, sticking out of the bottom of the iPad. I just knew I'd snap the connector right off, if I kept doing it that way. Apple fixed this on the new model, so I guess I was the only one who saw this as a problem. I'm not a rich guy, so I'm pretty conscious of price. I was replacing a 5th gen pawn shop iPad with a cracked screen that hadn't left my side in three years–– for $1100 less than a new model, and only $200 more than I paid for the old one! I gained so much more than just the screen real estate. The A10x chip runs flawlessly, even on processor intensive apps like GarageBand, the display is nothing short of jaw-dropping, and I can actually hear the speakers!     • Verrrry slow at charging, issues with touchscreen

So far, it’s just ok. Sometimes the touch screen lags or doesn’t respond until you scroll away or tap on something else first. Also, it arrived 0% charged… I’ve had it plugged in for at least 6 hours and it is currently only 26% charged. Seems to be working fine otherwise.
