Love it. There are some obvious signs of wear and tear from previous users, but it came with a screen protector on it, which I feel I got lucky for. It’s functioning like a brand new tablet and the screen is in new condition. The rest of the tablet like the back and aluminum sides and buttons have dings and scratches and damage, but still function as they should. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I’d give 10 stars if I could. Arrived in what appeared to be brand new condition. Very happy with this purchase! FOLLOW-UP: I'd give zero stars if I could... I used this iPad for about 6 months when I noticed it began having issues restarting. The screen would flash then go black for a couple days without notice, even after attempting a hard restart and plugging it in to my Mac. It would eventually power back on so I always attributed the issue to the iPad running software updates. It only happened a few times and I really didn't think much of it at first. Several months ago I ran into the same issue, only this time the iPad never restarted. I attempted updating the iOS manually by hooking up the iPad to my Mac - nothing. I tried restoring the iPad to factory settings - nothing. I plugged it into various outlets using various charging cords and plugs - BIG FAT NOTHING. When I reached out to the seller, they said there was nothing they could do because I was outside of their 90-day warranty. The seller encouraged me to buy ANOTHER refurbished/renewed iPad from them because "it is unlikely you would have another issue. 98% of our iPads are in 100% working order." If they are that confident about their inventory, then I feel they should make this right instead of shrugging and saying it's too bad I was unlucky enough to get one of their garbage iPads from the 2% that DON'T work. I recently took the iPad in to a local repair shop where they sent it off for a diagnostic. The last several months being without it has slowed down my workflow and irritated me to no end, especially when it worked so beautifully before. I'm designer/illustrator and rely a lot on the iPad for both personal and professional work. When I finally heard from the shop 2 weeks later, they said there were several issues with the motherboard and that they were unable to repair it. I would need to ship it to New York where I found a company who could recover my files. I would encourage ANYONE looking to invest longterm in an iPad to buy new. BUY NEW. Apple has a 1-year warranty on their products - don't risk buying a refurb when they can't stand by their work. Especially when you're not saving that much money anyway! Just don't risk it... I was very skeptical at first reading the reviews, but the price was unbeatable so I dived it and purchased it. This was an amazing purchase! It came early and it was well packaged. Before I purchased, I messaged the seller about the return policy (in case I had some issues) and the seller responded back promptly. Continuing on, the tablet's cosmetic condition looked new! It didn't looked used at all! Matter of fact, whoever owned this tablet, did an incredible job taking care of it. The overall condition of the tablet was used/like new--to me, it was basically new. I updated it to ios 14.3, and it still works flawlessly. I used the Apple Pencil as well and it works smooth and efficient. Each seller is different, so I cannot say you should buy it on impulse, but my seller was Gryphon Commerce, and they do incredible business! Buy it from them! ... show more

Basically good. The charger only worked to 12% then got hot and stopped working. Since this was my 1st iPad and I didn't know what was happening (constant "accessory not supported messages") and it wasn't charging, I initiated a return process. Then found that I had another charger and cable that worked. So I think they owe me a charger, but I'll keep it. Also had a little ding on the back (I wouldn't call it excellent condition as advertised), but I think it works ok- oddly the calendar populates with events from about 7 years ago and I've spent a fair bit of time unsuccessfully trying to synch it with my other Mac devices... ... show more
