I bought a 2017 iPad Pro 12'8" (512 mb) from the seller MOBILESUPPLY from through this page. (I think it depends on which one you buy, as to whom your seller is.) I wanted something to create art with my family on ProCreate (Though I'm showing a free app called artset in the photo (I like artset, but not that I can't resize canvize and pixels, etc.). I didn't need fancy updates from Mac or anything, but I definitely needed a solidly working iPad-- and this is it! :) The price at the time was less than $500 and it was in my budget. I had some questions for the seller, and I found MOBILESUPPLY very easy to work with-- and very honest. And I really value that as a buyer. I never once felt like there were any rude tones or dismissiveness. I bought a 2nd gen (2017) Renewed iPad Pro with 64 gb of RAM and cellular, as well as the Smart Keyboard. They both look like new without defects and work perfectly. The price was very good compared with new. For some reason the ones with cellular capacity were cheaper than the ones with WiFi only. I don’t plan to have have cellular service, but it also gives me GPS service which I see as a big plus. I felt reassured when Amazon sent me emails before they arrived giving me a phone number to an Amazon Customer service associate for any issues. I thinks it has a new battery as I downloaded a free app to my MacBook Pro called imazing. It gives you stats on the health of your i-devices batteries. The products came by Fedex a day earlier than the earliest scheduled arrival date. Update November 21. I had intermittent problems with touch screen unresponsiveness. It took awhile for me to clearly recognize this was a problem. This is described on the internet as problem with iPad pros. Fortunately it was still under Apple warranty. Finally, Apple agreed to give me a replacement iPad, so hopefully all’s well that ends well. Not sure if this was a random iPad problem or that’s why this iPad was for sale in the first place.   • REVISED | iPad Stopped Working After Only 10 Months Use

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I’d give 10 stars if I could. Arrived in what appeared to be brand new condition. Very happy with this purchase! FOLLOW-UP: I'd give zero stars if I could... I used this iPad for about 6 months when I noticed it began having issues restarting. The screen would flash then go black for a couple days without notice, even after attempting a hard restart and plugging it in to my Mac. It would eventually power back on so I always attributed the issue to the iPad running software updates. It only happened a few times and I really didn't think much of it at first. Several months ago I ran into the same issue, only this time the iPad never restarted. I attempted updating the iOS manually by hooking up the iPad to my Mac - nothing. I tried restoring the iPad to factory settings - nothing. I plugged it into various outlets using various charging cords and plugs - BIG FAT NOTHING. When I reached out to the seller, they said there was nothing they could do because I was outside of their 90-day warranty. The seller encouraged me to buy ANOTHER refurbished/renewed iPad from them because "it is unlikely you would have another issue. 98% of our iPads are in 100% working order." If they are that confident about their inventory, then I feel they should make this right instead of shrugging and saying it's too bad I was unlucky enough to get one of their garbage iPads from the 2% that DON'T work. I recently took the iPad in to a local repair shop where they sent it off for a diagnostic. The last several months being without it has slowed down my workflow and irritated me to no end, especially when it worked so beautifully before. I'm designer/illustrator and rely a lot on the iPad for both personal and professional work. When I finally heard from the shop 2 weeks later, they said there were several issues with the motherboard and that they were unable to repair it. I would need to ship it to New York where I found a company who could recover my files. I would encourage ANYONE looking to invest longterm in an iPad to buy new. BUY NEW. Apple has a 1-year warranty on their products - don't risk buying a refurb when they can't stand by their work. Especially when you're not saving that much money anyway! Just don't risk it...
