I was looking for the largest tablet to display music flat on a music stand (many professional players use largest iPad for display of music at their gigs). iPad 12.9 fits the bill (though rather pricey). Buying a back generation iPad (this is Generation 1) makes the price easier to swallow. This refurbished unit looks perfect to me. The CPU speed is plenty fast enough for anything I have used it for. I added an inexpensive flip cover, and a bluetooth foot pedal to flip the music pages while my hands are on the keyboard. I also have used it a bit for surfing the internet, videos, Skype calls, and boating navigation charting software (which is a bit CPU intensive). It works just great, for all of them, no CPU lag. Apple products are crazy expensive, so refurbished is a good option. ... show more

Fast service and the tablet is in like-new condition! Only minor point is that the table was listed as silver but the one which was sent to me is gold in color. That makes no difference to me, so I have no complaint. Would definitely buy from again!

I like to watch movies on it, when I am traveling. I also watch movies while my husband sleeps . A pair of earbuds and he slumbers away with no disturbance at all.

    • It is broken in 6 months - not charging at all.
I bought it based on good review however, the ipad is broken now, it won't charge, very sad. Apple Store said they could fix it but would cost $600. this renewed item is $579. So disappointed... I am not sure whether I am able to get a replacement from the seller, but I will try to contact Amazon first. Stay tuned. ... show more

I wanted this large tablet for a 53 year old iPad user who needed a larger screen. That is the perfect part! Nice big screen, perfect quality screen, but the battery lasts less than one hour so I had to return it.

Perhaps, after reading others reviews beforehand, expectations became high. However, was pleasantly surprised after actually getting my own to find out that it was almost like new except couple of scratches on the back panel of the iPad. Saved at least couple of hundred dollars for the 128 GB Wi-Fi + LTE (silver colour) version. All in all, nearly a month of use and it seems to be holding up well for a refurbished product. Would recommend it for others. However, take it with a pinch of salt as a refurbished product will not adhere to the same quality as a brand new product and there is no way to know from what condition it was refurbished.
