Mine showed up in its own generic cardboard box with just a charger adapter and cable, but is exactly as advertised, battery life has been great and the thing looks brand new, no scratches or signs of wear and tear at all. I compared it to the newest (10.2”) upcoming model i had planned to order instead and was surprised to find this older pro model actually outperformed the newer model in all regards. I keep this refurb next to my favorite chair. Iris the perfect size for me— not too big, not too small, just right. I doubt anyone would realize it is a refurb. Exterior is in great shape. I bought the 256gb wifi model ipad pro 10.5 2017, i was veey skeptical because it was labelled 'Renewed' which means refurbished as I was in Nigeria and the hardship of having to return it if i was dissatisfied plagued my mind. I eventually bought the renewed product and it came within 4 days (expedited delivery by DHL) from US to Minna, Nigeria. The product was very neat no scratches no sign of use. It came in a OEM box with OEM usb cable and plug 18w. Everything was ok and i also checked the battery status using 'imazing PC software' to see the level of strain the battery has gone through. It is 91% 7234mah very good battery with 124 charging cycles. This was fantastic. The price also was outstanding compared to UK used ones in Nigeria. I am happy I made the decision. I hope amazon sell more products to Nigeria. As i couldn't buy Apple pencil due to non delivery to Nigeria, had to get the pencil from Konga. I wanted to use the ipad pro for note taking at work. I use apps such as Notesplus, Nebo for handwriting to text...makes life easier. Amazon made my day. ... show more

Item arrived in a larger box, bubble wrapped with cable accessory and charger. Much lighter than ipad 9.7. Device feels premium, screen feels amazing (although it does get smudged with fingerprints easily). Only issue is battery life. Probably only lasts a day, so maybe 6-8 hours when used intermittently? 256GB is alot of storage so for around $300 its defeintly worth it, but id recommend for the same amount probably upgrading to the 11inch refurbished if possible. The true tone and 60Hhz refersh rate are cool gimmics but barecly noticable honestly. Overall good value for the price, but there are proably better items you can buy (refurbished) for the same price. ... show more

Took a gamble on purchasing a refurbished iPad Pro (2017) 10.5 for $429. Well worth the purchase and very pleased. The iPad Pro came with IOS version 11.4 installed, which is apparently notorious for having wifi connection issues (I originally had difficulty connecting this to my home network). This was quickly resolved with a prompt update to the latest version 12. The back-side of the iPad as well as the camera had slight scuffs, but nothing altogether too noticeable. The front of the screen was spotless with no scratches whatsoever. (Side note: If you are using a third-party charging cable for this iPad, you may notice that Touch ID will not work properly while plugged in. Make sure you are using a genuine Apple power cable). Ordered the first one and it wouldn’t hold the charge. Sent back, promised a better replacement with a year warranty instead of the Amazon warranty. This is how the second one arrived with scratches all over and this black screen with discoloration.

To be honest with you, I was always a little skeptical about buying, renewed or refurbished electronics. Based on the good reviews I had previously read, I felt that I would take a chance. I am more than happy with the product that was shipped to me! I purchased this particular iPad, because I had previously purchased one brand, new, and I wanted to replace it with the exact same unit. Since they stopped making this particular model, the only way for me to get one was to purchase one refurbished. Honestly, I cannot tell the difference between this particular iPad and a brand new one. It works flawlessly!
