Excellent condition for renewed product and it is, it looks new! It will need to be charged to 100%, it was only at 24% when I turned it on. I learned about whether I needed a sim card from the seller, I don't. But, I may in the future.

I was a little skeptical about purchasing an item that was used. My gut told me not to do it. I did it anyways. My gut was right. The battery dies fairly quickly.. if I don't use it, the battery dies very fast. I'm definitely has the battery damaged but other than that it works perfectly fine.

    • Limited Warranty
I bought this product in November. In March, it started having issues with the touch screen, seemingly responding to multiple or random touches when there was only one finger on the screen. At times, the "slide to unlock" function would not operate because the sliding finger gesture was not properly recognized. Operating system reloads and resets did not help for long. When I took it to the Apple Store, touch screen diagnostics showed completely normal function. I was told my serial number had been sold "as is, no warranty" by Apple and that I would have to get warranty service from Amazon. Of course, by March, Amazon's 90-day warranty period had expired. Apple offered the option of replacing the touch screen (at what I considered to be significant cost). So far, a hard (10-minute) power-off reset as suggested by Apple has been sufficient to restore most functionality when the device starts acting up. Otherwise, I'm completely happy with this iPad and the external keyboard I got with it, and I use it several hours daily. ... show more
