My wife and I were looking to upgrade her mom's aging 2015 vintage iPad as a Christmas gift. Both of them depend on their iPads for everyday use: emails and web browsing, FaceTime, and extensive streaming media. Upon weighing all the new and used options we settled on renewed 64GB 2019 3rd Generation iPad Air. It ticked all the boxes: lightweight, good camera, great display, and plenty of storage. Add to it that the seller had graded the product as being in excellent condition and could ship it quick for a competitive price and we were sold. The package arrived on time despite being ordered just two days before Christmas. Upon opening we thoroughly inspected it, and am pleased to say that except for a single tiny scratch on the screen, the product looked brand new! We then set about testing the functionality and were again completely amazed that everything worked just as you would expect from a new unit. Bluetooth, Wi-fi, Speakers, Microphone, Cameras, ports and buttons all in good working order. The most impressive thing to us however was the battery life - the renewed iPad held up as well as my wife's 2021 iPad Pro under the usual daily usage demands. In fact, we were so pleased with the quality and performance of this item that when my wife accidently water-logged her new(ish) Pro about 10 days later, we purchased a SECOND unit exactly like the first as a replacement. I bought the gold ipad air 3rd gen in "excellent" condition. Aside from not coming in an original box, the ipad was exactly as a brand new ipad would be right out of the box. I was skeptical of buying renewed, so I was very pleasantly surprised. I can't speak for any other "condition", but if you purchase the excellent condition, it will be perfect (and I don't mean nearly perfect). Definitely get what you pay for. I received my IPad like it was brand new nothing was wrong with it other then a tiny line at the top of the screen that was white. Two days later my iPad was shutting down and glitching and eventually wouldn’t turn on. I went ahead and spent the extra $ on a brand new iPad because I needed it for school and work. I definitely would recommend doing some research on other iPads before you commit to this one. Overall the iPad Air 3rd gen is almost the same as my new 2022 iPad 10.9 inch so wasn’t a big deal for me but I hope this review helps other users. ... show more
