This iPad was in amazing condition and looked better than expected. Packaging was well done and was very secure when I received it. Battery life was great and kept charge really well. Battery loss when the screen was not in use was minimal. Overall better experience than I expected. Worked right out of the box and had all the specs you expected. I did end of returning the iPad after a few weeks because I ran across a few apps that would not run with the older iOS. If it wasn't for this issue I would have kept it. Unfortunately I only got the iPad to run the specific apps and everyone online said that this iPad was compatible, but compatible and runs smoothly I guess are two different things. I have to buy a new iPad, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy from this seller again. Now if you are looking for an iPad for recreational use: online browsing, some free games, watching streaming videos this would have been perfect.     • An excellent iPad at an excellent price.
I bought three of these, already owned one just like it. I was very happy with it. Kept one for myself because the one I had was beginning to malfunction due to a fall that cracked the screen, and even after replacing the screen, it didn’t work quite right so there was something else wrong with it. The replacements are working perfectly. My sons couldn’t be happier with them. Nor could I. The only problem I have with them is that they’re not supported anymore with additional iOS updates. But so long as they continue to work, to allow me to do email, Internet, searches, and some streaming, YouTube and prime video in the light, I see no reason to change from it. An excellent iPad at an excellent price. Not everybody needs the latest model. Look very carefully of what your needs are, and take a look and see if this fulfills it. Don’t waste money, buying something newer, and more expensive, when something an earlier model will do just as well, fulfill all your needs, and save you a ton of money. ... show more

I just got the iPad (arrived a day early) and it was one of my first big purchases. I ordered the excellent condition and there minimal scratches and one dent. It came with a screen protector thankfully because the packaging was a bit destroyed at the corners. Only now starting to question the battery life because when it first arrived it was on 71 percent and not even five minutes later it was on 69 percent but overall it looks nice and I can’t wait to use it ... show more

Great iPad. This is my third refurbished iPad. This one is highly durable. Only difficulty was my other iPads are iOS 18, and so I could not backup from them because of older iOS on this iPad (iOS 16). The little smaller size isn’t really noticeable when compared to newer iPads. Works with all apps included. Speed is very adequate despite being an older iPad. I did have frustrating time getting it up and running. It didn’t want to accept my passwords. Struggled for over an hour. Finally it miraculously accept my password and I was able to manually install system. Storage capacity is 32 GB. Just adequate. I have several Ham Radio apps installed leaving me less than 10 GB storage left. Inadequate amount to install iOS 18. It has IOS 16 installed which works fine however. Refurbished equipment from Amazon is a great way of saving some money. This is my third refurbished computer from Amazon and all work great with no problems. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS IPAD UNLESS YOU DO NOT INTEND ON USING IMESSAGE OR FACETIME. I purchased this 9.7 inch 5th generation iPad for my son’s Christmas gift. I received my package on time, which I was eager to get it set up and wrapped for Christmas! Luckily, I had not procrastinated and had time to get it together. I was able to set the iPad up quickly with ease until I approached iMessage and FaceTime. iMessage and FaceTime both continued to display an activation error. I contacted Apple support to correct the issue. Apple stated my account (that I just made only an hour before) had been blocked for spam and to submit a request to have it unblocked. I followed the directions and waited 24 hours as directed. Apple never reached back out to me so I contacted them again, same outcome. I decided to create yet another new Apple account thinking it couldn’t be blocked for spam as it was brand new. Yet again, it was also blocked for spam and unable to activate iMessage or FaceTime. I reached out to customer service yet again. Followed the directions for a third time. This time I was given a reference number and instructed to contact them again if I did not hear back. Of course as fate would have it, I did not hear back so I contacted them as instructed. This time I was able to get a senior tech on the phone. The senior tech and I decided we would trouble shoot by creating another new Apple account (this was my 3rd one) on my MacBook to determine if it was the iPad or the Apple account that was causing the problem. The account activated perfectly on my MacBook so it was time to test the iPad. I logged in as I had before and unfortunately the iMessage and FaceTime still could not be activated. Apple support then informed me that the iPad operational system was outdated and could not support iMessage and FaceTime as it was too old. I then submitted for return as the iPad did not work to its full ability. I received my mailing label and dropped it off at the UPS ... show more
