Description

The iMac "Core i5" 2.7 21.5-Inch Aluminum (Late 2013/Haswell) features a 22 nm "Haswell/Crystalwell" Quad Core 2.7 GHz Intel "Core i5" (4570R) processor with four independent processor cores on a single chip, a 4 MB shared level 3 cache, 16 GB of 1600 MHz DDR3 SDRAM, a 1 TB (5400 RPM) hard drive, and an "integrated" Intel Iris Pro 5200 graphics processor with 128 MB of "Crystalwell" embedded DRAM (and shared system memory). It also has a built-in "FaceTime HD" webcam and stereo speakers, but lacks an optical drive. This model has a 21.5" 1920x1080 LED-backlit 16:9 widescreen IPS display with the "cover glass fully laminated to the LCD and anti-reflective coating." The rear of the case is aluminum and is thicker in the middle and tapers to a razor thin 5 mm at the edges. Connectivity includes four USB 3.0 ports, dual Thunderbolt ports, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11ac Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n compatible), and Bluetooth 4.0. Compared to its predecessor, this model essentially has the same external enclosure, but it has a much more efficient "Fourth Generation" processor and architecture, as well as faster graphics, faster Wi-Fi, and the option of faster storage.

    • Great iMac, Lousy Accessories
Cosmetically I would give this an 8.5 out of 10. From afar it looks brand new but up close and with good lighting there are a few minor dings on the corners of the casing. The screen is in excellent condition with no dead pixels or scratches. I am currently updating to Catalina which is the latest MacOS version so no issues there. The model I received is indeed the late 2013 model with i5 processor, 16gb ram and 1tb storage. It is running smoothly. Unfortunately the wired keyboard and mouse I received are very cheap, ugly and generic but brand new. Have now spent extra on getting replacements. In fairness it does state that you might receive generic accessories so other buyers should be aware of this. One of the major sticking points for me is that the power cable is not an apple cable. It's black in color and is very short. I'm concerned a little about where the cable came from and how safe it is. All in all the accessories and cable are a big letdown and actually when you consider this is between 6 to 7 years old, not as good a deal as first thought. The sellers could try harder to obtain original accessories or lower the price a little. ... show more

It moves significantly slower than the brand new Mac laptop I bought, but significantly faster than the HP laptop I had. But I didnโ€™t buy it for speed. I bought it for storage. And it has tons of it, to hold my large photography files.

This is the first day that I have my new iMac, it is 16gb,1TB only con so far, they show wireless mouse and wireless keyboard in the description but I received a wired keyboard. And a wired mouse. Note to get the newest iOS download you will need to go to the Apple web store. Cannot just get it From download on iMac.I have the newest iOS and itโ€™s working just fine. ... show more
