I have had this over a year now and has work great for what you pay for. In no way is it a nice brand or anything but something to put in a vehicle to update a little bit that your not trying to have anything passed factory sound quality then it’s fine. The rear usb only charge is my phone which is super strange but whatever I just used the front for CarPlay. I think I have only had to do a hard reset once. This radio is made for running your phone it doesn’t do well on its own so if your not using something like CarPlay don’t get this. Past that I like it for the extremely cheap price it is.

He’s a good problem

The media could not be loaded. So let’s start with the positive first… the unit it’s self is pretty nice looks wise and feels nice not cheap. Connecting everything was pretty straightforward no problems there…. Also Apple CarPlay works well but has to be connected through a cord does not work by connecting to WiFi considering there isn't a connect to WiFi option on the unit. Now with the negative…. I got this unit to also connect my sub to it, and well it’s garbage! There’s no other way to put it other than it’s complete trash does not connect and when you think it’s connected it cracks and pops with static. This unit is definitely not for subs. And well last but not least the back up camera that comes with this is also complete trash. The picture quality is not it. So ultimately if your looking for something cheap and just for the look… well go for it, if your looking for something more high end and can connect to subs and what not this unit is not for you. Hope this helps someone else.

Did exactly what I needed, and when I ran into installation trouble I actually got a reply email. In case anyone runs into the same problem I had: The backup cam was working fine while the car was off, but it went to a black screen when the engine was running. While the engine is running, the alternator charges the battery at 14v instead of 12v, so I knew that had to be part of the issue somehow. In order to get the automatic switching to work for the backup cam, I spliced into the reverse lights to send the signal to the pink wire on the back of the stereo. I realized that even when the car is running, the reverse lights only get 12v because the lightbulbs last longer if the voltage doesn't change often. So the problem was that I was sending 12v to the pink wire, but the red/yellow wire powering the stereo was at 14v. Evidently, they must be pretty close in voltage in order for the auto switch to work properly. I fixed the problem by adding a relay so I could send the same 14v down the pink wire.

i bought this unit because i wanted apple car play but didn’t want to break the bank. installation was easy enough but my biggest issue with the unit is that the rca signals are very very weak. so if you plan on having subwoofers, stunt walls, etc i do not reccomend this unit. i even turned the gain on my amps up a good bit and it was not near as loud as the previous radio i had. the apple car play was cool and all but the touch screen is pretty laggy. i feel like 3 stars is generous to be honest. the only reason im giving it 3 stars is because customer support was decent. they tried to help me but nothing resolved the issue with the unit being very quiet. if you’re not into aftermarket audio dealing with amplifiers and all of that this would be a decent radio but i would just save up another $50-$100 and get something better or go to walmart (like i did) and get a radio from there that performs much better for the same price minus the apple car play.

Not happy with the stereo. Bought it for my daughter’s Jeep Liberty. Installed it per instructions. Display only works while in park, once in drive the screen goes out and the volume goes up and down. Because I didn’t install it right away and now I have missed the return window, we are out of luck for getting money back. We would be happy if we could get it working.
