I bought this global actually a couple of them for my grandchildren. It is really fun to play with. It’s easier for the adults to grab then it is small children it glows so you can see the color swing around in it. I thought about trying it outside, but I’m afraid it might end up going too far not being able to catch it but it is a really fun ball. I bought 7 of these and the kids opened them at a party. They really liked them, but they don't fly like the misleading video shows. The globe is very unstable and can't keep itself pointed upwards. So as soon as it's released, it tilts over and starts to crash. Nobody, including a 36 year-old helicopter pilot, could make their globe fly like in the video. Regardless, they were a popular toy. The orb is lightweight so it can take a beating and be fine. Lots of fun learning how to use it best! We even landed in water and after putting the orb in rice overnight it wasn’t damaged at all. Definitely worth the money.

Bought this for my 8 yr old grandkid and I believe he'd handle it with the respect it will need. Problem is, I have a 6 yr old and a 3 yr old that will break it for sure. Not their fault, it's just going to get smashed at some point with the excitement it brings. Needs adult supervision imo. It also works well once you get the hang of it...sort of. It requires a finesse that doesn't come with rambunctious children. Still, I like it enough to keep it and play with it when they visit. That's my thought....hope. $34 seems a high price. I do like the plug in charge, but it doesn't really last long. I'm not sure we got a half hour out of it. Fun at night outside - it can knock things down in your house. ... show more
