What do you get for the 10 yo niece who is addicted to her tablet? Anything that'll keep her off the thing. So when mine showed me a vid of this flashing drone thingy and said "do you think I could get one of those?" I made sure to take a note. I'm sure the only reason she wanted it was the fact that she was being bombarded with ads and seeing so many random vids of the thing. In any case I decided to be a good uncle and order one for her but was pretty shocked when I saw that it was $30+. It arrived fast and charged up fine and she was really happy when she opened the gift and but the novelty wore off pretty quickly. The product is a little difficult to use like most people on here are saying. Still, it is fun to see the thing float and pretty satisfying when you get a good pass but I wouldn't be suprised if she's forgotten about the thing already which is quite a bummer given the price point.

The pictures and videos make it look super cool and fun, but it doesn't work anything like what's displayed and advertised! It doesn't hover above your hand at all and you can't "throw" it to other people because it just nose dives at the ground! If you try to let it hover above your hand you'll end up trying to chase it around until it once again nose dives into the ground! I missed my chance to return it by 5 days because life got in the way and I just forgot about it. It's been sitting in the box since the 2nd day we got it. I wish I had paid more attention and returned it ASAP because it's a complete WASTE of money! However, hopefully this review will prevent others from falling victim to this toy like we did. I'd give it 0 stars if I could! We even bought the wand to go with it, which was also a waste of money, completely useless.

These are fun and super powerful. However the battery goes very fast we have found that having two has been good. One charges while we play with the other. Has some good power. Kids and adults have enjoyed this.

VERY fun toy. I originally got it for my 3.5 year old for Xmas and it was a blast but it was broken within a day.. the motor started not working very well after ~ 2 hours of play, it slowly tapered out more and more until it just stopped rotating at all ( would still hold a charge and turn on, but motor was shot somehow ) .. I chalked this one up to just being cheap and perhaps dust or pet hair getting stuck in the motor. So I ordered a 2 Pack of replacements! ( one for me and one for the boy ). My kids was broken again within an hour. He is a bit careless with his and it hits mor things and gathers more dust going under tables and shelves, however I am REALLY good at this thing and mine barely crashes or touches the ground, mine was still working. However now, 2 days later, I find mine is now also similarly dead ( motor just was super weak after turning it on today, then on 2nd activation, it just stopped turning the motor on ).. TL;DR: Super fun toy, but now 3 for 3 of them have died after ~ 1-3 hours of play. They are cheap so not a big deal, but I don't want to fill a landfill with them.. I would pay 50$ for a reliable non-Temu version of this.

This thing is a big waste of money. If you enjoy spending lots of coin of a cheaply-made, piece of garbage toy that doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do, then look no further! This is the crappy toy of your dreams! Mine never hovered. It never boomeranged back to me. It always just turned over like it was top heavy and then went careening around the room at full speed, knocking everything in my kitchen over in the process, until it crashed onto the floor. Over and over and over again. The instructions are minimal at best. They make it seem sooooo easy that even a child can get this thing to work! And I couldn’t escape the feeling that the people depicted on the box were silently mocking me as I repeatedly tried to get this thing do what it was supposed to do! That’s right, Mr. baseball hat dad… smugly watching me fail and making me question my competence! I am ON to you, and calling shenanigans on this!! I guess I got a defective one, as other people have left good reviews. I probably got one of the defective ones that other customers have returned. So many bad reviews saying that theirs was defective! Amazon just gets the broken ones and puts them back into the warehouse to go out to someone else. Wait a minute! I guess it “boomerangs” after all!! Five stars. 😒
