Is the Apple 35W Dual USB-C charger still worth it in 2026?
Style: 35W Compact
In 2026, this Apple 35W Dual USB-C Port Compact Power Adapter occupies the ideal middle ground in Apple's mobile charging lineup (as clearly shown in the lineup photo: the baseline 20W single-port to the left, this versatile 35W dual-port in the center, and the higher-output 40W to the right). It strikes the perfect balance for users who need more capability than the entry-level 20W without jumping to the top-tier single-port options. This charger excels at simultaneous multi-device charging, delivering power to two gadgets at once—no extra outlets required—making it a go-to for charging an iPhone 17 alongside an iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, or even a MacBook Air on the go. Foldable prongs ensure maximum portability, and the premium Apple construction (sleek white finish, robust build) holds up flawlessly under daily travel and heavy use with zero degradation or heat issues. Single-port performance unleashes the full 35W, providing reliable fast charging: expect roughly 50% battery in 25–30 minutes on iPhone 17 Pro models—measurably faster than the 20W baseline for real-world top-ups. Dual-port mode shares the total 35W intelligently across both USB-C ports (neither gets 35W individually). The charger's smart power-allocation feature dynamically prioritizes based on device needs—directing more watts to the hungrier device (e.g., a laptop or phone) and less to accessories—ensuring balanced, efficient charging without noticeable slowdowns. For users chasing the absolute peak wired speeds on the iPhone 17 series (Apple's official figures: 50% in ~20 minutes via 40W+ adapters), this model sits just below maximum potential. However, its dual-port flexibility and compact design make it significantly more practical than single-port alternatives for the majority of Apple ecosystem users juggling multiple devices. Exceptionally reliable, stays cool even under load, and engineered to Apple's uncompromising standards—this charger delivers consistent performance with no reported failures across extensive testing. If you're looking for one charger that handles phones, tablets, watches, and more without compromise, the 35W Dual USB-C is a standout choice in Apple's current lineup. Highly recommended—solid 5-star rating in 2026.

Great charger block, worth it
Style: 35W Compact
This seems to work excellent, charges all my stuff really fast! Especially paired with a nice new apple charger like I did. Worth the investment!

Can’t go wrong with this..
Style: 35W Compact
I always try to go with Apple products first.. This chargers is a good one, love that it has 2 USB C ports so I can charge either my iPhone, iPad or my watch. It’s easy to use although it’s 35w so it’s not super fast but it does the job

Great, Compact, and Versatile Charging Port
Style: 35W Compact
By far my favorite charging brick. It is so convenient for areas like behind the couch where a cord may normally get bent and fray. I wish I had these in every room, but we just have one in our primary bedroom on my side of the bed, and it’s very convenient for charging two devices at once. I also brought it with me when traveling. Only thing I noticed is that it didn’t work when I used it on my recent Delta flight. The outlet went from a green to a red light when I plugged this port in. That said, it has worked with all of my USB-C cords, and works nicely in my outlet in my car when I want to charge both kids’ tablets.

Tested and works perfectly….
Style: 35W Compact
Not all charging blocks are created equally, and I have had more than a few aftermarket ones that would barely function. This is a true Apple product, and it works perfectly as a fast charger when used in conjunction with a high quality cord. I especially appreciate that there are two ports, so I can charge multiple devices at once.

Life changing
Style: 35W Compact
This thing changed my life. I have a 2020 MacBook Air. My kids disappeared my original charger. I have an old (very old) charger, probably from 2016 or earlier, and I was really just looking to replace it, but oh, no, it's so much better than a replacement. First, it's cheaper than the typical replacement, it's an Apple product, it allows me to charge 2 Apple devices (for me, my iPad and MacBook Air), and doesn't weigh a ton when I need to take it with me. I also bought replacement cords as mine was looking ragged and I also use Apple products for those. Because I'm that person. If you're reading this, you are also an Apple aficionado, then you should choose this (so long as it meets the needs of your devices).

Actually a fast charging adapter
Style: 35W Compact
So normally, I don't give out 5 stars for much of any product, not because I'm difficult, but because there is always 'room for improvement' in the products I evaluate. However, for this one, it really deserves 5 stars. Why? because this adapter really does allow for fast charging. I have multiple adapters in my house and my travel bag. This one happens to sit in the house because of the right angle design. This allows for furniture to be pushed up against the device without crimping the cable itself. However, when compared to other adapters, this one actually charges faster. Amazing, actually.
