They seem to charge fast and the light is a subtle blue/aqua/green that doesn't light up my room when I'm trying to sleep. I am very happy with the charger. It charged the phone overnight as I wanted it to. I'm not looking for a quick charge, overnight is fine. We have the phone in a wallet case and it charged fine through that case. The credit cards and cash are on the opposite side of where of the back of the phone so it charges good and starts charging as soon as it's laid in the cradle. It seems to be very well made it feels like a real chunk when you hold it in your hand. It is not feel cheap or thin. It also doesn't seem like it's going to fall over very easily even if you would set the phone somewhat roughly on the charger. I also think it was a very fair price. We put it on a standard size nightstand next to our bed and it's not in the way at all. In fact it takes up less space than when we would plug the phone in and laid it on the nightstand. The one issue I do have with it is the extremely bright light that is always on. I put two pieces of gray duct tape on top of one another to knock the light down, but that did not work it was still very bright even through the two layers of gray duct tape. I used black electrical tape and that did work. If it had a way of turning off the light when there's nothing on the cradle and/or when the phone is fully charged I could give it five stars. Stopped working after 6 months. They offer no support. Whet it was working, the bright status light is always on just turns blue. Can be annoying in a dark room at night. Update: charger works amazing. IPhone needed to be restarted. After restart the charger worked.

I've got two of these same charging stands. My wife uses one for her IPhone 14 and I use one for my Pixel 8. I like the way it looks and it works for both phones. I've seen reviews talking about charging time. I have no idea how this compares to other devices, but for my use, it's perfectly acceptable. I like the idea of using wireless charging. If fast charging is important to you, it probably best using a plug-in charge. My understanding it that wireless charging is inherently slower. This product requires an AC/DC adapter. This product is package two different ways: 1.) with AC/DC adapter included, and 2.) without AC/DC adapter included. When I ordered my second one, I didn't realize that I had gotten the one without the adapter included. Fortunately I had an adapter I could use so that wasn't a real big issue for me. The one without the adapter is shipped with a USB-A to USB-C cable. The charger stand uses the USB-C connector. The charger stand is rated at 15 watts. Make sure that your adapter will put out 15 watts. If not, that could have an affect on charging time. I think that when using a standard USB cable, you're limited to 7.5 Watts, so that would mean a slower charging time. In my case I'm using an AC/DC adapter with a USB-C connector which is capable of putting out a higher wattage then the USB-A standard. Unfortunately, the adapter I'm using doesn't have it rating on it. If you get Nanami 15W charging stand with the adapter, the adapter it's shipped with is rated 5V @ 2.5A, which is 12.5 W. So you're not really getting 15W delivered to the charger. For my Pixel 8, I believe that it wireless charging is rated at 12W, so the 12.5W is fine. I don't know what the IPhone wireless charging is rated at. I know that there's a 30W version of this charger is available. If you pay for the premium, it's probably wasted if you only use the charger stand for phones. I'm not sure about large size devices. By the way, I'm not an EE guy, so maybe an EE type person would verify if what I relating is correct. I do know that there is a myth that higher wattage relates to faster charging. That's true if the device you're charging can handle that higher wattage. ... show more

I just got this thing today several hours ago and so far I'm somewhat impressed, kinda happy that I bought it and it's worth the money I think because I've had my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 phone for a few years now and my battery doesn't work nearly as good as it used to because I'm constantly charging it all the time and it runs down real quick but lately my charging port on the bottom of my phone sadly basically became unusable so no matter what cord or charger I use it hardly charges up at all and that's so incredibly irritating because it just won't make good contact anymore and it's just constantly draining most of the time even when I have it plugged in so I researched what I could possibly do and I thought about actually ordering another battery and charging port both and trying to install them both myself but it looks a little bit difficult and I was worried that I might permanently damage my phone even more if I try that and I still might I'm not sure because I would like to have a newer charging port as well as a new battery no doubt about it honestly and extend the life of my phone even more without getting another new expensive Samsung phone again soon even though eventually fairly soon I will have to get a new one as always just like everyone does every couple or few years but I saw this thing here on Amazon and it got pretty good reviews so I figured I would try it even though I never felt confident that these wireless chargers actually worked but I figured it's worth trying and I'm glad that I ordered it because so far it's working somewhat and you can even lay your phone sideways and have it charge wirelessly sideways also in case you're watching a video or something so you don't have to have it upright all the time which is really cool but it really does save your charging port and I wish I knew about this thing a long time ago and I wish I had faith in them when I heard about them before my phome got so old and messed up but I never thought they worked at all without actually plugging something into your phone and I thought these things were just a gimmick like with a lot of things and they might be somewhat but at least so far this thing is working somewhat even though it does seem to charge slow compared to when my phone was newer with the original plug in charger but I think that's possibly most likely due to my old phone with the old battery really because it is charging and it's extending the life of my phone so that I can continue to use this phone and keep it for a while longer but it doesn't charge fast enough if I actually have the data on or if I'm watching a video because it will still drain down but just not as fast as if I didn't have it on this thing so that's a big dissappoontment, it really only will charge up my phone completely if I'm not using my phone at all and if I have my data off which is better than nothing so it works ok and it's saving my charging port on the bottom of my phone because when you're constantly plugging your phone in and unplugging it for years even though I thought I was careful it really wears out the port on the bottom of your phone over time just like with anything and charging it wirelessly is saving your port and not wearing it out but the original charging way does work a lot better but just not on my phone anymore sadly because it got damaged and my phone and battery are both really old now sadly so I wish I got this sooner before my phone got so old and damaged to see of it would work even better but it does work some but not as good as a wired charger on an undamaged and newer phone for sure! ... show more
