As a Windows/Android guy, laptops have always been a sore spot. The choice of ugly, chunky, hot, low battery life gaming laptops, or ugly, plastic-y, corporate econo-notebooks has never been appealing. I bought a number of used laptops trying to find the sweet spot (Dell Latitudes and Precisions, Lenovo ThinkPads and IdeaPads, HP Pavilions, ASUS behemoth gaming laptops), but none of them felt right. I heard many news stories of the power and efficiency of Apple's new M chips, so I bought a cheap used M1 Macbook Pro and fell in love. A year later, I decided to go all in and purchase this 16" M3 Max with 48 GB of ram and a 1TB SSD. I'm confident that there is NOTHING it can't handle! I'm learning indie game dev, playing with 3d modeling, running basic local LLMs, and making dumb little songs in Logic Pro having an absolute blast! The battery life is nuts for how much raw power the system has! I will always stick with Windows desktops, Android phones, and Linux VMs to sharpen my tech skills, but Apple has something really special in these laptops. The screen is beautiful, the keyboard feels so tight, and the aluminum body is sturdy and luxurious. I cant believe this machine come with apple original refub box. Original charger and cable. No scratch no issues. Batter cycle 4 health is 100. I saved nearly 1K thank you guys!

I was shopping for the “big” MacBook Pro at my local Apple Store and my wife suggested that I check online for refurbished models. I found a refurb model at the Apple Store for a decent discount, but then I came here to Amazon and found a deeper discount still.
