  • Looks good, works great!
Just for home business purposes

  • Worked for Three Days
Machine worked for three days, then shut down. Could not restart, cold start, start in safe/boot mode etc. Completely dead. Troubleshooting produced no joy. Was not the power cable or box. Was not the display. I suspect chip connection popped on the motherboard. Unfortunate as I was in the midst of a significant project at the time. It is what it is. I will say the seller was prompt and the machine shipped quickly and safely. So this review is not a dig on them. It is a dig, however, on Apple's quality control which Ive noticed has demonstrably gone downhill in recent years. Possibly cheaper outsourced internal components, as well. Pretty disappointing, actually. I plan to switch back to PCs. I do a lot of quantitative modeling and build resource intensive decision support products-- I can get a higher performance machine (much) with 32 Gb, better processor, and probably 1-2Tb SSD for less money. Generally can run much more complex software packages easier, as well. Sorry, Apple. You lost me with this one. ... show more
