So I originally bought this MacBook because I’m starting a YT channel and wanted to make it easier for myself by having all apple products (to share data across the cloud and run the programs I want smoothly) When it arrived it was in fantastic condition considering it was previously owned. Minor bumps / scratches but overall the quality was great. Here’s the issue I encountered: I couldn’t download iMovie or any other actual video editing app since the MacOS was capped at an out of date version. Also, I couldn’t get my pictures or videos uploaded onto the Mac because it couldn’t hold them / there wasn’t enough storage (even though I hadn’t downloaded any of my actual apps or videos yet) Overall it would’ve been great if I was strictly using it for searching the web / class work. Unfortunately I already have a desktop for that purpose and more. Ended up buying a new MacBook Pro but I was really hoping to save with this option. Of course it’s from 2017 so I knew there was a possibility of it not working out. Anyway, I’ve just returned it and should see the fund back soon. Communication has been fine with the seller.     • UPDATED!! RESTORED was definitely NOT restored
**UPDATE** After reaching out to customer service several times in several different ways over 2 days, I received a response back via the Amazon Portal. I was THRILLED to find that even though it had taken a couple of days to receive a response, they had been working toward a resolution in the meantime. They escalated the issue and had the DEP chip removed. About 2 weeks after the escalation, I hadn’t received notification that the issue had been resolved. This must have been a minor issue because once I factory reset the MacBook, the issue was resolved!! I received my restored MacBook. While there are many scratches on the outside of the laptop, that didn't bother me much. I figured, that's easily covered up and is worth the money I saved. However, the problem began the moment I turned it on. I was never given an option to sign in with my Apple ID, and when I logged into my wifi I was immediately informed that the "Sauk Rapids-Rice Sch Dist 47" has Administrative Access and there was no way around it. I accepted the reality to proceed with the device set-up only to find Clever, the Code of Conduct, and Handbook for the district has been pre-loaded onto my desktop. It would appear that literally nothing was "RESTORED" prior to shipping me this laptop. When I call the customer service number, it goes directly to voicemail for “Mike”. So, I reached out via Amazon. I received an initial reply asking for my serial number, but no updates since. I tried the number several times with the same result. Until the issue is resolved, all I feel is devastating disappointment. However, I promise to update my post and rating if/when someone reaches out to correct this issue. ... show more

I needed a new computer, my Son suggested a 2017 Apple MacBook that was reconditioned, on Amazon. The price was right and it had a 90 day warranty, so I thought, that will work for me. Wonderful buy. Please note that it does not support the SONOS App and wont let it play due to the old OS which cant be updated. No scratches and new battery. This OS also will not run Turbotax 2022.

Well, Let me say that I have read just about a ton load of reviews concerning this product before making a purchase. I held my breath and closed my eyes until the MacBook Air arrived. While at the pickup station I just didn't care too much about the other products, but went straightaway to open the box contain my MacBook Air. It was an absolute beauty; A fantastic product indeed!!! There were two very insignificant scratches (almost unnoticeable), but overall very new overall in all that I thoroughly inspected. I was hoping my refurbished laptop from Amazon would function smoothly and allow me to finish out my semester without any technical hitches and that has been exactly the case for the month that I've had it. The computer processes fairly quickly, the battery will last for 3+ hours without a cord which is a pleasant surprise, and it runs the most up to date OS flawlessly. I am only upset that it won't connect to my Sony bluetooth headphones for whatever reason, which are about as old as the computer. The computer came with a scratch on top but thats the only flaw I noticed and it doesn't matter to me. ... show more

It looks almost brand new it has a few scratches on the outside but that’s easily covered with a case the screen is perfect and it works great not issues so far I’ve been playing a game on it and it’s been amazing 🤩 just a tip if it doesn’t let you set it up when you add your Apple account then skip adding it till after it’s set up once you’re done then add your Apple account from settings because for some reason that was the only way I was able to set it up but other than that it works great also if this is your first Mac to scroll use 2 fingers on the mouse pad to touch and scroll also I already put the case on it it looks beautiful 😍 ... show more
