It's a Seiko...what else is there to say! I've worn this watch everyday since I received it. I love a automatic field watch as I can wear it in all environments and in most attire. I have done so much while wearing this watch and as a retired Marine it sticks with my roots. Pros: no charge requirements, maintains time very well, GMT capability, sturdy yet small face, all environments, Price is very good for a well made watch Cons: none! I'm going to look for suffering versions of this watch as I love it. Great watch, I bought this because of the larger hands in the watch, easier to read. I’ve had good service history with Seiko in the past. I like GMT watches and this is easy to adjusts and read.

Beautiful GMT field watch that's perfect for everyday wear. The only thing I'd recommend is swapping the strap, as it's a bit difficult to put on and take off.

    • The Seiko SSK-025: A GMT Automatic at a Quartz Price
The Seiko SSK-025 offers a lot of value for what you get: automatic winding, cool matte black stying, GMT hand, and good lume for nighttime use. It also has a crystal caseback so you can observe the escapement whizzing around. Honestly I don’t see anything else out there offering this value this watch gets you. At this price point, there are going to be some sacrifices. You get a very thin leather NATO strap. I am not a fan. I immediately ordered a replacement strap with a clasp from a third party. The case is steel, so with the automatic movement it is a bit heavy on the hand. The automatic winder is never a bother, I can only hear it when I swing my arm wildly. The watch comes on a pillow in a presentation box inside of a shipping box. There is a 20-page warranty booklet but no instruction manual, because Seiko is apparently trying to save the planet or something. You have to go to the Seiko website to get the manual. I would rather have it the other way around, Seiko. I am observing about -6 seconds accuracy, so not too bad in that department. Overall, I think this watch is an excellent buy. ... show more

    • Sturdy and reliable.
I purchased this watch for the simplicity and that it had two time zones. It’s my go to for international travel.

    • GMT hand doesn’t line up with bezel numbers

The watch is fine except that the GMT hand doesn’t line up with the 24 hours on the bezel. Each click is either halfway before or halfway after the number. Rendering the GMT hand basically useless. This is the type of QC that has been lacking in recent years with Seiko
