Built too cheap to last longer then 30 minutes
Great idea, just bilt to cheap to last. Cutting 3/8 rebar it only lasted 30min , then gear was chewed up wouldn't spin blade. But was surprised that something this small was working (when it did) way more ergonomic then cutting same rebar with hand wheel cutter. Maybe someone will build it stronger and make it a lasting product. Not expecting the price go be the same if beefed up , but this one for 60$ is too good to be true. Not worth finding out if i got lemon or if their all built this way, back to metal chop saw purchased.

Mini Table Top Chop Saw 6”
This is a very inexpensive tool when you don’t need a full size chop saw or you're cutting needs are small. Comes with a metal cutting disc and a non metal cutting disc. Instructions and tools are easy to use and has replaceable motor brushes. It’s not a heavy duty machine shop industrial saw, it’s simply for small home projects.

Excellent...
I had an old blue version from HF but lost the reducer/expander adapter and could not buy a blade to fit. I am going to make a special bag I can snap onto the body so I don't loose the needed wrench and other pieces. (they should made an 'under-frame' storage arrangement) Aside from the typical uses - I am in the process of making 20+ window screens. Nothing else works better for making true 90-deg cuts on small, flimsy alu stock. ..than perhaps a table saw. Jim/Maryland

Very cheaply built!
I attempted to cut a piece of 1” x 1/8” angle iron. On the 3rd cut the gearbox stripped out. You get what you pay for!

Solid little saw.
Great little saw for the money. We're using to cut parts for a Vex robotics team and while it's not perfect it has good power and cuts through things quickly. It will cut through both steel and aluminum pieces. It throws off a ton of sparks but they are guided well so they're not being flung at the user. We're still working on ways to hold the pieces well while we're cutting them. The built in clamp is pretty good but it can be a bit tricky to cut flat stock.
