****Original review below update!**** ******UPDATE!**** I left a harsh but, honest review originally. However, I'm sure many share my frustration with issues shortly beyond warranty periods. I'm approximately 3-4 months beyond the return window. I had one of 2 lights die. Frustrating as it was in great shape and not very old by my own standards. These lights are bright and when working properly last all night. Also, sold at a reasonable price. The company reached out within 24 hours of my review. Prompt, professional and motivated to make it right. I was several months beyond the return window, they didn't have to respond or do anything to help me. They refunded 50% of the original purchase cost to remedy 1 of 2 lights having issues. There could not have been a more fair resolution. Great company, great customer service! If you're in the market for these type of lights, you can have faith in the purchase. Companies with this level of customer service are a dying breed! **Original Review below.*** The light WAS great when it worked. I had one light installed for 2 months. I had it set to be off until it detects motion. Then the light turns on to max brightness for 15 seconds. Which is probably the setting out of 3 that drains the battery the least. Worked great until it died conveniently a couple weeks beyond the return window. I've tried turning the light off and leaving it in sunlight for several days. Nothing will fix it to function properly like it did when I first began using it. I hate leaving reviews, especially bad ones. However, there's no other option on here to contact the company and the return window has ended. I'd love to be in contact with the company and resolve it. ... show more

These solar motion lights work like a charm. I have mine set on Number 3 which is turn on when motion is detected. A super bright light shines. Very much would recommend these and I will buy again, if necessary. I am very happy. Easy to install with the two screws that are provided.

We live in the country where dark is so dark you can't see your hand in front of your face. After coming home at night recently and having a hard time seeing my house, I have been on a quest to light up our house at night. In the winter, it gets dark at about 4:30pm, which makes even taking out the garbage at night daunting. So, one type of light I was looking for were solar lights that could be attached to the house to provide lighting on the side and front of our house. In my quest, I bought one set of these lights and a set of another brand. Both had a similar number of LED's and the same setting functions. My first observations were this light was a bit smaller, the LED's were smaller, and the light projection of this light covered 180 degree lighting vs. 300 degree coverage of the other light. In my testing, I found that the battery life, durability, motion detection, functions, and the look of the lights were all the same. The difference was the lighting coverage and the size of the LED lights which made a huge difference in the brightness of the lights. We opted to return this set of lights in favor of the other brand that was more suited to our needs. Before buying I read reviews. 2 issues stood out. Water tightness and brightness. The way these lights are mounted requires the mounting surface to be flat. If it isn’t and you over tighten the screws. There is a risk of cracking the unit causing it to allow water inside. Do not over tighten the mounting screws. There are 3 lighting modes. 2 of them come on as dim or dimmer. Push the on/off button 3 times to access the brightest setting. They are bright in this setting when they are activated by the PIR (panoramic infrared) motion sensor after mode 3 is selected. I bought the 4 pack. For the price. I can’t fault them out of the box. I fitted them at the top of 5 and 6 foot high fences. The range of the motion sensors in our 75ft x 75ft yard is plenty and the light is adequate in luminosity. 15 seconds is plenty of time if all you want is to track your puppies around the yard. A variable time setting to extend that 15 seconds to 30, 45 and 60 would be a nice addition? ... show more
