- DURABILITY: This commercial POS standard-duty cash drawer is made of steel for strength and durability. The cash drawer has roller bearings to allow the drawer to slide open and shut. The Vasario Series cash drawer is tested to withstand at least 1 million transactions.
- INTERFACE: Equipped with APGs MultiPRO 320 interface that is compatible with all 24V printer driven POS systems. Please note a connection cable is not included with purchase.
- DESIGN: The all-black drawer comes with a plastic till that has five bill compartments and five coin compartments for organizing money by denomination. Finished with two media slots for inserting checks, credit card receipts, or other transaction papers. Compatible with multiple forms of currencies.
- LOCK SYSTEM: A latch releases the drawer when opened and keeps it securely shut when closed. The four-function lock on the drawer has functions to lock the drawer closed, lock open, open electronically using a MultiPro connected host device, or open manually.
- DIMENSIONS: The APG VB320-BL1616 Vasario Series standard-duty black painted-front cash drawer measures at 16.2" x 16.3" x 4.3". When placed on a counter the drawer is large enough to support a monitor, tablet, receipt printer, or other point-of-sale devices.

I bought this in conjunction with the receipt printer recommended by Square. I had been using the Ipad for farmers markets and as a test in the store, however, with my contract for CC processing coming up for renewal, I decided that the Ipad/Square/printer/cash drawer were working so well together that I could cancel my old processing and use Square exclusively. This has probably been the best move I've made in the past 5 years. The drawer works seamlessly with the Ipad and the printer. Of course there is the occasional hiccup, however, it's technology, everything needs to be reset now and then.

I spent years in jobs that included lots of cash handling. This cash drawer is the nicest I've seen. It's solid build will last for years and its finish is just lovely. It triggers cleanly and the drawer all but shoots out when triggered. I'm very pleased.

High quality construction, works well. Actually works just fine with Square Stand even though I misread the recommended HW list that calls out the (more expensive) USB model of this drawer. It functions just fine connected to the recommended Star printer. A little big for my taste and no obvious ways to bolt to counter, but otherwise just what we needed.

I like the fact that this item is heavy, the reason for that is because I want it to be secured down to the counter as much as possible to make it difficult for someone to grab. I connected this cash register to my receipt printer and the receipt printer to my POS system. It all syncs and works great & fits well on my counter. There are different sizes for this product so make sure you measure your counter space before you place your order. Good luck!

I purchased this in order to do the whole Square cash register operations for my photo booth. I must say, this is definitely a big cash register. I thought the ones at work were big, this one seems much bigger. As stated by the top review, it's a 5 bill 5 coin setup. The cable for connecting to the receipt printer goes underneath the register, so it's safely hidden in a way. I'm not sure if it's just because my version was different, but the tray inside does come out and you can put larger bills underneath as far as I can see. There are 2 slots in the front that will cause anything inserted into them to go underneath the tray. I had to take the tray out to fix one of the springs since it got loose.

I bought it to use with Star Micronics Printer and Square on iPad, works flawlessly with Both of them. Didn't know that 16" was big though, it's big, but not huge. I installed it under my register counter and cause it would take some some space. And kept only iPad (hackler stand) and Star M printer. Happy for purchasing this. Smooth operation made me like it and disregard the size.
