I had been buying a product at a sports store. The attachment straps kept breaking in the middle because of the way the first piece was attached to the second. It's called heat sealed, which can easily break. That pair did not last 2 days. This APEXUP 10lbs/Pair is well made with sturdy straps. The individual pockets are sturdy and well stitched. The removable modular weights have a sturdy material. The sand is a much better grade than the competitors.

Quality build and adjusting from one to five pounds is plenty....Lots of exercise possibilities from walking around the house with them for a few hours to marching in place for two or three minutes to running with them....but why only four stars.....two issues: First, the weights themselves are packaged in what appears to be very thin nylon...or polyester.....they fit in very tight pockets with an over the top closure. The individual weight packages are hard to remove and almost as hard to add....you probably won't be doing this often, but because of the difficulties there is a good chance, if you are not careful of tearing the material....and now you have a pile metal particles all over your floor...... Next....do not wear these without sox that go up at least passed your ankles....otherwise you will get blisters..... but I use them, the closures are secure and the general build quality is excellent....so...

These ankle weights come with 1lb. weights (sand capsules) for adjustability. The velcro strap has plenty of length for securing the weights to the ankle. I have skinny ankles so they are a tad lose when just put on over socks. They'll fit tighter if you wrap them over your pant legs. Good quality so far.
