We purchased the ALORAIR Crawl Space Dehumidifier for our rental property and it has been an absolute game changer. The tenants were starting to notice a musty smell. After few hours the humidity went down! The air is now clean, fresh and dry and I have no complaints! My husband is an Engineer so he checked this dehumidifier from top to bottom before we made the purchase. He was impressed with its build quality, efficient design and advanced features. One of the amazing features is the app. As landlords being able to monitor and control the unit remotely is such a convenience! . We can adjust settings, check humidity levels saving us trips to the property. The built-in pump and hose make drainage very easy. You can choose pump or gravity drainage. It's big but compact which allowed us to drain it into crawl space. It’s super quiet, so it doesn’t disturb pepole inside the house! The energy efficiency is plus as it helps keep the utility bills reasonable. With the auto-defrost feature we are sure it will perform well even during colder months. We couldn’t be happier with this purchase. It’s very reliable, effective and cost-effective. It’s an investment that keeps pays off!

I purchased the Sentinel at the end of September 2024 and installed it in our crawl space using the Alorair Hanging Kit. The Hanging Kit, while pricey for the parts etc., was easy to install. I recommend having two people to lift and move the Sentinel, and adjust the Hanging Kit. Downloading the Alorair-C App and connecting the Sentinel HDi65S unit to the App was seamless at the time, and I was able to monitor the humidity levels via my iphone over the course of the last month plus. Yesterday, Nov 4th, I experienced a power outage and loss of wifi, and while all of my other wifi related utilities reconnected fine, the HDi65S did not. I was unable to reconnect the Alorair-C App to the Sentinel any longer. The App was frozen regardless of my attempts to log-in, create a new login password, and create a new account. After numerous attempts I sent an e-mail explaining the circumstances to [email protected] and Ryan Y was able to reset my account. As soon as I used the username and password I was able to immediately connect the Alorair-C App to the Sentinel HDi65S. Aside from the app issues the unit has worked very well. I'm pleased with its performance and like being able to observe the humidity level with the Alorair-C App.

We bought this to go under the house but I can't take it out of the basement bedroom quite yet because it works on the whole house if I leave the doors open. I have the hose running into the shower drain. It hasn't rid of the musty smell but it definitely has eliminated any rust on guns, sticky floors, and moldy stuff. A little expensive for what gets really made for but it's an investment and works like a champ.

I've already own an Alorair dehumidifier, which I love. But I am really thrilled about the new Wi-Fi unit that I just purchased. The app allows me to control my unit while I'm away. With the app I can change humidity levels, purge my pump, and turn my unit on and off if desired. They are seriously solid machines. I have been waiting for a great Wi-Fi unit. They also have an awesome 5 year warranty.

I was experiencing very bad mold issues around my garage space due too some severe water leaks. I bought this dehumidifier and since the beginning I’ve liked that it’s a small unit and easy to move around. I'm very pleased with how well it has performed so far. Mold issues have decreased and I have noticed some improvement in the quality of the air around that area. Instructions made the installation easy to do. Recommended.

The extra $100-150 for the WiFi variant of this is a complete waste of money!!! I thought this would be great since in my elderly Mom’s crawl space to be able to monitor and control. But what a disaster this has been. First time I installed it I’m the app would not let me log in. After calling and complaining they said the IT was on it. Two days later I could sign in and finally connect to WiFi. It worked fine for a week and now I can’t monitor or control it. So being 2 hours away I need to ride up and see if I can fix it. What a waste of money!!

Works as it should put it in the crawlspace turned it on synchronized it with the app. It’s been running for over a week solid it has pumped a lot of water out of the air. I’ve been keeping track. We’re talking a lot of water, but it said it would dehumidifier a 3000 ft.² it hasn’t went below 80 percent humidity in the last few days it did start at 90%. It’s a completely sealed off crawlspace. I’m hoping it can make it to 50%. That’s what the goal is to stop the growth of any mold and from things rusting we’ll just have to give it a little more time and see if it can do the job all the videos I watched on it. The crawlspace is wasn’t even sealed up and it dried their dirt out and made things look dry, but they didn’t give a estimate of how long it took of this thing running nonstop so I’ll just have to wait and see, but it does take water out of the air That’s for sure so my review is incomplete. I will give it one month then I will report back.
