Love it! It took 3 of us to put it up it’s not as heavy duty as I thought it would be but it works for my space it also has those built-in gutter systems. One thing I would like to mention is make sure when you put your legs on the part where the water comes out is facing towards where you want the release to be. it was too late for us so when it rains, I’m sure the water is gonna come towards my porch, but that’s OK. Other than that I’m happy with it.

Pretty easy assembly
Went together seamlessly. No issues getting it up in a matter of a few hours. Only needed my son’s help for 2 parts other than that it can be a one man crew. Louvers work great. Will update after some rain to give feedback on that.

Does a good job, but not really a freestanding unit. DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU ARE HANDY!
This does a great job of keeping the rain off in a typical shower, very impressive in its performance. I would caution you though that if you don’t attach it to a permanent fixture it is wobbly. We fix it to the house with heavy metal brackets I bought. I put corner braces on as well. I did not use the cement bolts included I upgraded those. Two other things though, we had a bent fascia piece I would not have been able to use if we didn’t hide it by putting against the house. We also had a broken louvre control piece that I had to manufacture myself. I tried unsuccessfully many many times to call the company. No answer and never a call back. They have NO customer service!

Poor quality control, holes dont align, parts not cut to right sizes.
Quality control is very lacking!! Machine made parts are not drilled/aligned correctly. Specifically the K part used to connect B1 to B2 and the like. You get 4 K parts and all 4 had the same hold pattern that resulted in the gap at the top of the beam. This is a very basic Lego like build, but because the holes are not aligned things do not sit like they're supposed to, there's gaps where water can get in (and now I have to figure out how to waterproof), there's this piece that connects 2... arms? So when you crank the gear to open/close the shade rails, it connects the arms that move both rows of shades. Well either the arms weren't cut the right length or installed backwards, or the joining brace holes weren't drilled right and you could not get the holes aligned. I had to cut the metal ends off 4 arms so the holes could aline otherwise you'll connect them in a poor manner that personally could not live with (see images). The screws they provide are CHEAP and strip very easily... one didnt even have space for the Philips head, which is cool except I'm up a ladder and have to climb down to get more because i counted how many i needed based on how many rails i had up. And this was a common complaint but the instructions are like Lego instructions. For the most part its simple and the parts are labeled (except the screws, thats all guessing game). But once you figure out how to build 1 thing its just rinse and repeat. The annoying part is figuring out the first time and wondering if you did it right cus nothing lines up right. Again, no quality control. My last complaint is the shade package... it has protection on the top and bottom but not the corners or sides. The shades are thin metal planks that can bend very easily. Well in shipping something happened and I have 4 shades with clear damage from the corner being hit by something more it dropped on the corner. I made it work. But package it right please. I gave it 2 stars because the build was not difficult. Its mostly a 1 man job except for when you go to assemble the beams to the posts. If the holes and parts were all made with quality so there wasnt metal cutting or open gaps that need to be sealed, i would have forgiven the damaged shade planks and poor quality screws and given a 5star. For the price though compared to others.. if you're handy like me.. it might be worth it.
