HDPE on the other hand is made with the same colored material throughout so there is no peeling or color mismatch. What is Resin wicker? Resin wicker is a man made synthetic wicker. If you’ve ever wondered if resin wicker and synthetic wicker are the same thing, the answer is yes! These terms are used interchangeably, But there are lots of different qualities being made & used for furniture. HDPE, or high density polyethylene, is the best quality material for synthetic wicker. When you see this material being used it is a sign that these are better quality resin wicker products. Heavy gauge aluminum frames - Be sure to look out for aluminum (not steel) frames so that your furniture is resistant to rusting. It’s also a good idea to choose furniture that features heavy gauge aluminum frames so that the pieces are sturdy. Furniture frames that are raised off the ground - Your furniture will be outside, meaning there can mud, dirt, dust, or sand. It’s smart to find furniture that is raised a couple inches off the ground so that the frame is not sitting in the dirt. Little to no assembly - Not only is low or no assembly a factor convenience, it also has to do with longevity. When your furniture’s frame has been welded in the factory, that means it’s much stronger. If you have to piece it together at home, it could come apart just as easily. Choose items that are crafted and shipped whole. Made of HDPE - For resin wicker that is strong and durable, and not prone to cracking, fading, or peeling, you absolutely must choose HDPE, and don’t buy anything made of PVC. The Verdict Natural wicker will become dry and brittle over time. It will crack and cause the weave to unravel over time. Natural wicker can be subject to damage caused by insects and small pests. Natural wicker may fade in the sun and get wet during rain, being permeable may cause the fabric to give in, on the seating area. Natural wicker is best used indoors. Synthetic wicker is infused with UV Inhibitors that prevent fading in the sun. Synthetic wicker won’t break, chip, or scratch and it’s stain resistant. Synthetic wicker is easy to wash. We moved into our house 2 years ago and we have a lovely deck with forest like views! I have been searching for a set like this for the past 2 years. I loved the price for what it offered. I had a friend put it together who said it was easy. When we placed it on the deck, loved it, but it was smaller looking than the photo online. That was the only glitch....it was comfortable to sit on and I thought to myself that if the set was bigger, like traditional couches, my back would be roasting in the sun. The size of the set lets me place my arms comfortably on the backs of the couches and I don't feel so "closed in." My favorite part is the firepit!!! The table is sturdy, has a slider to put the propane tank in plus storage shelves on the other end (I did not know this). The firepit can be adjusted to different flame strengths and is so pretty!! They shipped the parts 2 different times...all the furniture first and the 2nd delivery was the firepit. I have an oasis on my deck and all my friends love it!! I definitely recommend this product!

I’ll start by saying I was nervous because Amazon provided me only 1 shipping notification with 1 tracking number. First delivery came as 2 boxes and I thought this can’t be right there’s only 4 couch sections, where’s the rest?! Then 2 more, untracked, boxes showed up all on separate days. The third box had the fire table and the last box had the 2 additional couch sections and the side table. Everything was very well labeled with easy to follow directions. I deducted one star because I wish there was a way to hook the actual couch sections together.

Was delivered in 4 boxes that came on different days, but if you contact customer service they will get back to you right away with the tracking information for all boxes being sent. The packaging for the seats great, the fire pit was good except the glass beads bag was broken open so beads every where. The couches look good and comfortable enough. The are very light weight so the wind in OK blows them all over the porch (easy fix anchor them down). The cover for pit blows off in the wind. The fire 🔥 pit has sloppy paint on it and poor finishes on paint (see photo) but for 700 bucks a 6 seat furniture your not going to get top quality. Over all happy with it. Easy to assemble and looks good.

It’s a cute set! I am a little disappointed in how small it is though. I was expecting it to be taller but unfortunately it is not. It works for me because I’m 4’10 but my husband on the other hand is 6’2 so it’s not as comfortable for him
