  • Great value storage shed Great value storage shed
Size: 6'x4' Color: Brown
This outdoor storage shed arrived surprisingly well packaged, with every panel and hardware piece organized carefully to prevent damage or scratches. The instruction manual was also much clearer than expected, with step by step diagrams that made the whole process manageable even for a first time builder. Assembly is definitely labor intensive and took me almost an entire day to complete. There are a lot of screws to put in, so having a good drill or electric screwdriver will make the process much easier and faster. Seeing the finished shed standing in the backyard made it absolutely worth the effort. There is a real sense of accomplishment once everything comes together. One small issue I ran into was the back top rail alignment, which required drilling a couple of new holes to make it fit properly. Thankfully it was not a major problem and did not affect the final stability or appearance. The finished shed looks fantastic. The all metal construction gives it a sturdy and durable feel, while the design looks much more premium than the price suggests. I also like that it has a locking mechanism for added security. After setup and recent weather, I have not noticed any leakage issues. Inside is spacious with plenty of room for garden tools, snow equipment, ladders, and storage bins. It already helped free up a lot of valuable garage space, and I can still see myself adding more items over time. Overall, this feels like an excellent value for the money. Solid construction, clean appearance, large storage capacity, and a very satisfying DIY project once completed. ... show more

  • Strong, lightweight, easy to assemble, spacious, and very solid once installed. Strong, lightweight, easy to assemble, spacious, and very solid once installed.
Size: 8'x6' w/Base Color: Brown
Excellent quality and much better than I expected. The material feels strong and durable, and the design looks modern and clean in the backyard. The inside space is very roomy and perfect for storing tools, yard equipment, or even larger items without any issues. The doors open smoothly, and the ventilation helps keep the inside from getting too hot. Assembly takes some time, but once it’s set up, it feels very solid and stable. Definitely worth the price and makes the outdoor area look much more organized. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Value for the price point
Size: 6'x4' w/Base Color: Brown
Great price for the shed size but you must be a little bit handy assembly wise. There are about 300 screws and bolts needed for assembly. There was one boxed item in package that was bent before put in large box but did not affect unit. Instructions were good. Need to be able to use diagrams as opposed to written text. If you are not good following diagram instructions this is not for you. Buy a Rubbermaid type 10 step shed instead for twice as much. Flimsy material but it is sturdy enough when assembled. The side roof panels and trim around the roof are super fragile flimsy. If you grab while inserting screws it will bend. Easily straightened out to get it to fit with minor curves remaining. Dropped a roof panel and it crushed the corner. Bent back as best I could but it is hidden behind the trim that goes around the edge of roof. Have not water tested but most of the seams should keep water out. The gap between the doors will leak water in. I may add some weather stripping. Had extra screws so they provided plenty. Sharp edges so I wore one glove on left hand, kept my right free to handle screws and drill. I did have to drill about 8 - 10 holes that either did not align or were missing so you should be prepared for that with drill. Oddly there was one roof bracket that was missing 3 holes. This unit has more headroom than the plastic version too. That is important if you have 6 foot folding table. The plastic ones are 6 feet tall in the back but are angled and too short in the front. I'm happy with the price being half of a plastic model. ... show more

  • Inexpensive, sturdy, easy to set up although will take half a day, overall a great deal.
Size: 6'x4' Color: Brown
I gotta say, for the price, this is a great little shed. I got 6'x4'. Panels were a little banged up on two corners upon arrival but nothing I couldn't correct by hand. I actually followed the directions step by step, page by page, and I was able to assemble it in just under 5 hours. Instructions were nearly pictures only, very little wording, but easy to understand and complete. I was mostly by myself, but I did get the wife to help me hold a couple of parts, she helped for maybe 15 minutes when the wind picked up and I only had 2 corner panels screwed in at the bottom and no frame on top, so she helped hold it all steady until i could get it stabilized and framed. One person can do it, but it would be very frustrating. The biggest problem I had was manipulating the short screws. I spent half my time picking up the screws I dropped. I had no trouble with the screw holes lining up as some of the others have said, but I did assemble mine on a flat and level surface, which I believe is the biggest issue in getting the holes to line up correctly. Doors assembled and fit perfectly, this was an original concern on how well the doors would actually operate, and they are just fine. Do yourself a favor before you assemble. Make for sure the surface is flat and level, make sure there is no wind, and have a helper with you at least until you get the corners up and the top framed. Another tip, have someone with little fingers help you place all of those hundreds (literally hundreds) of plastic washers on the little screws for you. This was very time consuming. ... show more

  • I’m a woman and I built this alone. I’m a woman and I built this alone.
Size: 6'x4' Color: Brown
Ok. First thing. I loathed the idea of putting this together. Why? Because of user reviews on sheds like this. That’s it. It sat in my yard for about a month before I opened the box and got to work. User reviews matter to the extent in which the history of one writing shares their arsenal of knowledge. I hope by sharing my history it helps to give an idea of what I’ve done previous and how I was able to build this storage unit. I am woman. I’m 40. I taught my ex husband how to tile (a full bath and floor). I’m single, I’m a homeschool mother. I have done and will always continue to do things on my own. Not because I’m overly independent, but because I know it’ll get done right- or close to, I like single life and I learn something new. And unless a handy Prince Charming enters my life, I intend to keep me this way. Most importantly; of all things- I am a trial and error Queen, but at least, I’ll always try. I have built shelves, walls, dry walled etc- but not without mistakes and lots of practice and about 20 years of projects, watching and/or helping out more experienced handy folks. With that all said: This was my first time putting a shed together. This shed is an actually easy build, as in; putting the components as necessary per the directions together. Everything is labeled. All screws labeled. Directions are clear. I laid everything out on a tarp and kept F1 screws in a container for easy access. It came with gloves, but just be careful. The gloves were in my way. **Notable mention: I have had more complications with select IKEA furniture.** Were there tricky parts? Yes- only because I did this alone. Holding certain parts while trying to align and screw in short screws forced me to get creative with making it work. Did everything align? Yes. Were there some bent edges? Yes. Nothing a pair of pliers couldn’t straighten out. Was my ground level? Close enough. I built this upon a previous laid paver area and used shims to level. Were there scratches? Yes. Some. But I can overlook it. I did not peel off the plastic protective wrap and it looks fine. I used a power drill and wouldn’t even consider otherwise. I also filled in slight and slivered tiny openings with caulk- simply for my personal bug concerns. The metal is thin, but once together is quite sturdy. I didn’t need a 3k shed. I simply needed something to store and keep dry -storage totes. This locks too. I’m content. The issues I had: I admire any man who puts this together with larger hands, because as a 5’5” woman, the screws are tiny for me even. My bulk frustrations came from dropping screws because my hands are working hands and I’m using a power drill to tie in screws, all while aiming to line and hold up parts of the roof and/or walls. (Having an extra set of hands would be helpful and a driver.) Other than that tedious annoyance, it took me about 5 hours with some small breaks and conversing with my dog who hung out with me my whole build. Overall. This was doable and I’m happy to free up closet space. Will it last forever? Probably not. But change is a constant so I’ll enjoy this lil shed while it lasts. I feel this is a budget buy and a small token of time for something that will do what I bought it for, for at least several years. Worth it. ... show more

  • Great value and perfect for garden storage, but requires patience and the right tools! Great value and perfect for garden storage, but requires patience and the right tools!
Size: 6'x4' Color: Brown
The package arrived and it was quite heavy, so you might need help just moving it. As for the assembly, it definitely requires two people. The instruction manual explicitly lists the tools needed, and I highly recommend following its advice: you absolutely need a power screwdriver and a drill for making holes. If you don't have these power tools, the installation will be extremely tiring and difficult. It took two of us a full afternoon to complete the setup. On the bright side, the instructions are very clear—every single piece of material and type of screw is clearly labeled and numbered, so it's impossible to mix them up. The quality of the materials is actually quite good, especially considering the very reasonable price point. At first, I thought the dimensions looked a bit small, but it turned out to be spacious enough for my needs. It easily fits all my garden essentials, including fertilizer, soil bags, and various small tools. Once fully assembled, it looks great, feels sturdy, and gives you a wonderful sense of accomplishment. Highly recommended if you have the right tools and a helping hand! ... show more

  • Mediocre. Snow will probably tear the roof off without reinforcement, also came missing hardware
Size: 6'x4' Color: Brown
The shed is mediocre. The included hardware count is an issue, constuction quality is okay for a light percipitation / rain only envirornment, but I'm worried about snow. It took me maybe 5 hours to put it together myself. It would be best to have at least two people though, since holding stuff up and screwing it together was a pain. Just a heads up, you'll want an electric screwdriver, and no tools are included The hardware count was like reenacting Goldilocks and the Three Bears. In some cases I had 30+ too many screws and bolts, sometimes I had 3-4 too few screws and bolts, and occasionally I had juuust the right amount. Which was all the more fun because two of the hardware baggies were ripped open in the box with the rest of the hardware. The predrilled holes are occasionally too loose. I'd say maybe one in every 40 screws I put in could be pulled out by hand. the other 39 are tight so I'm not overly worried, but if you expect this to be durable you should rethink. On that note, the roof has a lip to it that is only screwed in on in a couple of places on both sides, which is a terrible design choise for the flimsy and loose material. I don't expect it to completely colapse, but any amount of snow will probably tear a large portion of the roof loose. ... show more

  • Well made-good design, great instruction book for assembly.
Size: 6'x4' Color: Black
Of all the self assembly things I've bought over the years, this one is tops for their design, and the instruction booklet that comes with the product. It seemed daunting at first-in page number, and the number of parts; including all those screws. But once I started, despite the time it took me (2 days), I got it done without any hitches, no mistakes or reassembly required. Every part was properly labeled and the instructions as well as the photos were well detailed. There were two surprises, but nothing (for me) major. 1 was the gauge of metal used-its very thin and light weight, but the cross structural supports in the design more than make up for the lightness of the fabric. This thing is sturdy and short of gale force winds should survive several years of weather, especially here in N. Cal. The 2nd surprise was this thing has no floor or ground pad to sit on. Thats on me actually for missing that detail on their ad page if it was there to begin with? The ad showed a picture of this shed with all kinds of shelving in it. The thin sheeted construction will not and does not allow for wall shelves to be attached so I my just use a few cinder blocks inside with plank board... I don't know but my fix for that was to go to the local Tractor Supply Store and buy a 4 x 6 rubber barn stall mat for $60 and it works perfectly. The whole set up is sitting on a same size section of patio blocks so its level, and I was able to use the pre drilled holes in the base frame of the structure into the floor mat. Sorry no photo. I'm a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to Tech. I'm 76 yo and btw- put this together by myself. A couple of well placed hand wood clamps, held the roofing parts together on the walls, until I screwed them in place. Also an easy fix. ... show more
