Pleasant surprise - really nice at 1/3rd the price of comparable 2-chair + small table sets - believe me a real surprise. But a very hard to assemble unless you are a wiz at such things right off the bat. The instruction brochure is almost unreadable and the diagrams terrible and no extra hardware (screws/bolts) and no real explanation of what sized screws to use in each piece - perhaps having a web page would be an immediate help. Have already advised two neighbors who are buying them while they last but they will regress to getting a handy man which is what i should have done - we are all in our 80's. The engineering of one Allen Wrench and a simple cheap wrench works very well - but if you use the wrong sized screws - the longer ones are better for old fingers - then you have to find or go get more - pain but a side effect. The reasonable cost of around $300 makes it all well worth it and the chairs are very comfortable. The cushions do not attach or tie down - we worried about that - but after using the chairs on our patio we realized that when you get up the top cushion lays nicely on the seat cushion and it does not move in the breeze and can be taken in during a rain storm easily.

The only reason I marked these with 4 stars was how difficult it was to assemble trying to follow directions. It arrived in a big well padded box with all the pieces looking in excellent condition. Being a solo DIYer, it was a bit challenging at times (plus I put the table legs all on the wrong way). It took me about 3 hours for all items. The second chair was a breeze once I figured it out on the first chair. They are light weight enough to carry out to my courtyard but may be too heavy for a smaller person. The cushions look nice and feel comfy. Allow the back cushion with the button in the middle to expand after you remove from the vacuum sealed bag. It takes about a couple days to fluff up.

Do you like to throw money away? Have too much time on your hand? Has your mental health been too stable lately? Look no further and purchase the earthquake simulator 2000! Assembling this will have you throwing your hands up in despair. At the end, you will be sweating as if you just finished a half marathon. The wobbliness cannot be overstated -- from the chair foundation to the rocking component, shakiness is your perpetual accompaniment. Oh, in case you were wondering, the side table rocks as well - it's not a bug, it's a feature! If the above seems like a wonderful experience, then please go right ahead and spend your hard earned cash on this gorgeously abysmal product.
