Not that difficult to build like some reviews say, made it through the first rain storm fine and no problem with some strong winds. The roof is not made of metal, it’s a clearish tinted plastic, hopefully it holds up. I wasn’t expecting that but it’s a good looking gazebo and it’s been nice to have this summer!

The packaging was very heavy as expected but the assembly was convenient, the instructions were user friendly and all required tools were included. It took us 2-3 days to complete everything but we did it on our own as a DIY project so it was fun. The metal and other parts are sturdy but could have been better, however with this price, its a great deal. It turned out to be a cute little sun room as curtains and net zip up to make it private with minimum mosquitoes. My dog also feels safe inside but also enjoys the outdoor view and scents. Overall, for this price, I don’t mind the quality I got.

Overall, we are very happy with this gazebo. It is a budget gazebo (I don't mean that as an insult, it just is.). It's made of aluminum and the parts are easily bent if not careful, but once assembled it's very sturdy and good looking too. It assembled easily enough (I built it alone but really could have used another person for some of it, so if you are not handy and creative in finding solutions, it will be a challenge). It comes with a nicely done 31 page step-by-step assembly book, all of it is visual with little text, very good in 90% of it. Also, I did find a fairly helpful video that someone posted on YouTube. We live near the ocean and get a strong breeze almost nightly, the gazebo handles it very well. But, it must be secured to the ground. Two minor complaints: 1) The plastic curtain rings are flimsy and I don't think they will hold up for long. 2) The stakes that are used to secure it to the ground are way to short to be of any use unless you have hard clay soil. Do as the instructions suggest and start with a parts inventory. This is one of those projects where if you get halfway through and are missing something, you'll have to stop to order the part, and because it ships from overseas you'll have to wait 2-3 weeks for that part. By the way, their customer service is outstanding! They respond quickly and are very helpful. For the manufacturer: Step 23 (the ridge cap) should moved to before Step 21 OR the part should be redesigned to better align with the holes. The way it is now, you have to reach over already installed roof panels and it was a dog to do. Even with 2 people it would be hard to do.

The media could not be loaded. We live in socal so the weather started heating up mid February already and we are in desperate need of some shades for our back yard. We ended up purchasing this gazebo since it was at a decent price range and not a huge splurge compared to other gazebos we looked at. The gazebo arrived in two large boxes. I thought that it would be an easy and quick installation, but the process actually took four hours and four people working on it. There were a lot more pieces than I expected after opening up the boxes. Having all the right tools also helped move it along, otherwise it would take us two days to finish. After all the hard work, we were able to put the gazebo together and get some shades in the backyard where we sit and eat. The gazebo sits beautifully there. It comes with the side curtains to block more sunlight but we have not put those up yet. Just the top part alone is good enough for use for now until it gets hotter in the summer. There are hooks on the top so we can add some string lights if needed. The middle part has options to hang lights as well. The gazebo is made of aluminum so it is fairly light. Since the posts are aluminum as well, it can be moved around easily. To keep it in place, we currently have sand bags at each post. Although we will be drilling it into the cement to keep it anchored for windy days. My family enjoys having meals under the gazebo after swimming in the sun and needing a break. It’s been a great purchase for us.

for our backyard, and while the final result looks great, the journey getting there was less than perfect. First off, the design is beautiful. Once assembled, the gazebo adds a really elegant and functional touch to the outdoor space. The aluminum frame feels solid and the hardtop roof offers great protection from sun and rain. The included curtains and mosquito netting are a huge plus — they make the space feel private, cozy, and usable even in buggy evenings. It really does elevate the whole backyard experience. That said, we did run into some issues. Unfortunately, several parts arrived damaged — one of the roof panels had a noticeable dent, and one of the main support beams was bent at one end. This made assembly more challenging than it needed to be. We were still able to get everything put together, but it took extra time and effort to work around the damaged pieces. For a product at this price point, it was disappointing to deal with quality control issues right out of the box. Assembly itself is a big job — definitely not a one-person project. The instructions are okay but could be clearer in certain parts. Plan to set aside a good chunk of time and have an extra set of hands (and maybe some patience) on standby. Overall, this gazebo has a lot of potential and looks great when it’s all finished. But between the damaged parts and the time-consuming setup, the experience wasn’t as smooth as we had hoped. If everything had arrived in perfect condition, this would easily be a 4 or even 5-star review. As it stands, it’s a decent product — just know what you might be getting into.
