I got this because I was tired of everybody hiding from the sun at family cookouts. We used to drag chairs all over the yard trying to find shade and it looked kinda goofy. Setting this thing up the first time took me a little while because the frame is pretty heavy. Me and my brother figured it out after some trial and error and a few bad ideas. Once it was up, though, it covered a big area real nice. The tent feels strong compared to some cheap ones I have seen at sports games and flea markets. The top kept the sun off us and handled a surprise rain shower without leaking all over the food table. I liked that it came with sand bags because the wind in my area likes to act wild for no reason. The roller bag helped too, but stuffing everything back inside felt like trying to put toothpaste back in the tube. Not impossible, just annoying. We used it for a birthday party and later for a little backyard hangout. There was enough room for tables, chairs, and a couple of dudes standing around pretending to help while holding drinks. The height was good and nobody smacked their head on the frame, which is honestly a win in my family. One thing I noticed is the canopy fabric can wrinkle up pretty easy after packing it away. Not a huge deal unless you are super picky about looks. Overall I think it was worth getting if you need shade for parties or outdoor stuff. It feels more solid than those tiny pop up tents that fly away when the wind sneezes. It is not super light, so moving it alone can be a pain in the back after a long day. Still, once it is set up, it does the job and makes hanging outside way more comfortable. ... show more
