I like this pergola a lot, it's light weight and we'll likely replace a couple screws with something longer eventually. It works great, it was quick to put together. We did pour foot deep concrete footers for it. We added a tie to hold it open when not in use (our wind in Colorado can be intense in the spring and the shade kept coming out). I appreciate the little holes for water to drain. Overall, it looks great, functions pretty well and the price was great

Assembly was straight forward. The directions weren't entirely clear but you could intuit the intent from the pictures. The product looks decent from a finish perspective with the black coating. 1. Nothing is level or straight. The frame droops and bends under its own weight for the 12x16 variant. Hopefully the photos will do it justice, but it's a problem in the vertical and horizontal directions. I'll likely need to add supports in the middle to keep it from breaking down over time. 2. Of the 4 magnets in the box, two arrived cracked in half. Since they're magnets, they still perform their function. 3. The awning has lots of loose threads that had to be snipped. 4. The directions for anchoring are unclear. 5. The dimensions are called out in the photos of the item, but the renderings they use for the photos make it look taller than it is. Overall, the pergola is okay. It will last for 2 or 3 years until I decide to replace it with something sturdier, more permanent, and more expensive.

I have mixed feelings about the Aoxun 10'x12' Outdoor Pergola. On the positive side, I love the concept and the design. The adjustable canopy that can slide back and forth is a great feature, and the size of the pergola is perfect for our backyard. For the price, it offers decent value, especially in terms of aesthetics. However, there are several downsides. First, the pergola is extremely lightweight, which raises concerns about its durability. The instructions were not clear, and the pictures were hard to interpret, which led me to take it apart and reassemble it a few times. One solution I found for the lightweight issue was to fill and compact sand in each of the pole legs, and that has helped it stay grounded during strong winds. Despite this, the structure still doesn’t feel very sturdy. Another issue I’ve encountered is with the retractable shade. It’s supposed to be held in place by magnets, but the magnets are too weak to keep it open or closed. I ended up using zip ties to rig it so the shade stays in the desired position. On the plus side, the shade is designed with holes to drain water when it rains, which is a nice feature. While I do like how it looks in my garden, the pergola does not appear as sturdy as it does in the pictures. I don’t think it’s suitable for anyone looking for a long-term structure. Based on my experience, I’d estimate it might last me about three years. For those seeking a more permanent or durable pergola, I wouldn’t recommend this one.

Took a long aggravating day to put together. I hope it holds up seems sort of not very sturdy. And was sent wrong size. Ordered a 10 x 12 got more like 8 x 10. I think when you order a product advertised as 10 x 12 that is what u should receive. Very unhappy with this purchase. If I had wanted an 8 x 10 I would have ordered one and paid for it other than paying for the 10 x 12 and getting 8 x 10. Very upset with this company

The product was well packed, all the materials were wrapped perfectly and there was no damage. It was easy to install and had no issues in following the instructions provided. we used it for our concrete patio and it fitted the best.It provides ample shade and protection from the sun allowing you to enjoy outdoor even on sunny days and it elevated the look of my patio.Highly recommend this product - best quality at affordable price.
