This is my Second purchase of the aosu video doorbell. We purchased a second one because of the quality this puts out. We just purchased a second one for another outside area of our house. The video in the recorded event, and the live camera, can't get any clearer, clean and crisp. Night vision is just as clear. The set up, and installation is very easy, and the written instructions, if needed, are simple to follow as well. If there is another person or persons, you want to allow access, you can simply invite that person to your video doorbell. The notifications come directly to you in real time, via your cell phone, computer, or laptop. The doorbell chime is loud enough that I hear it from the second floor. I can't say enough about it. Would I purchase a 3rd one... Yes I would. The price is right. The quality is great, and it does exactly what we purchased it for. I've used the online support a couple times with both doorbells. Like this doorbell: easy to install and setup, image is unbeatable, motion detection and notification are all good, it picks up sound so well, I can hear bird chirping from distance. Videos are stored locally, so no cloud fee, no subscription needed . Bought it over 6 months, only charged battery once. Had an issue with homebase, contacted customer service through email, they were very helpful, checked the problem, replaced it right away. Pros: well packaged, easy-to-follow directions, easy to install (two screws to install the mounting bracket, device just snaps into place), easy to connect to Wi-Fi, easy to share with others, local storage (cloud subscription available but optional), good night vision, good field-of-view, good image quality, good customer support, app works well on phones and tablets, many customizable options in the app, comes with 8GB micro SD card and USB-C charging cable (although it's a bit short), live view, easily review recent events (car or person passing by, etc.). Cons: no PC/laptop app yet but customer support says they are working on it. This is my first doorbell camera so I can't compare it to other doorbell cams, but I have other motion-sensing security cameras and this is the best one. If you are looking for a good doorbell camera, or just a good security cam, seriously consider this one. Since I already had a perfectly adequate doorbell, I bought this just for the camera function, because it is small and could be installed in a strategic location. If you get the battery version and it is used for other than just a doorbell, it should be installed in an easy-to-reach location because you will have to periodically recharge the battery. Note to seller: a separate monitor and solar charging would be helpful. EDIT: if you turn on the Doorbell Anti-Theft Warning after installing, and you should, make sure you TURN IT OFF before detaching the device from the mounting bracket. It is quite loud! ... show more

This was very easy to install and get the app up and running. I'm in my 60's so if I can do it, anyone can. We are pretty happy with the app settings and options. The picture is very clear and the night time infrared quality is good too. I didn't need it to read license plates on the cars in the street, just to show me people that come in our gate and up the steps. It perfect for that task. ... show more

I really like this doorbell. The app is very nice and works well with the hardware. They even give you a micro SD card, though it did kinda crap out on me after like 3 or so months. I bought and returned the Ring and Blink camera doorbells because their setup and reinstalling software was a nightmare, even with a support assistant on the phone. it couldn't handle different signon names for product and amazon accounts, had problems with device reinstallation after I had to start over. Even technician couldn't resolve the issues. Aosu is simple, easy to install and provides an equally clear view and audio to my front door area and doesn't require Amazon subscription.
