My eight year old son was really excited about this scooter when he got is Christmas morning. Sadly, after the first day the back tire went flat. He didn’t run anything over and I can’t find any type of puncture. Literally just went flat as an eight year old was riding it. *Update* Changing my review from 1 to 5 stars due to their customer service. I sent them an email and they immediately responded asking if I would like refund or a complete replacement. The media could not be loaded. Got this for my daughter’s 7th birthday. She previously had a razor scooter she just began to outgrow. We have lots of grassy areas and rough roads and this scooter will get through it all. Love the brake system and the big wheels. Only complaint is that it all had to be put together. ... show more

BIG HIT!!!!! I have now given this big wheel scooter to two granddaughters and one grandson. They all loved it, and are riding non stop. lol I highly recommend this scooter. My grands are ages 7, 8 and 9, and it worked well for all three.

    • Good scooter, assembly is challenging

The good - nice looking scooter, that seems very sturdy and it is a good height off of the ground. The platform is a great size - width and length - for kids size feet, who are just learning. It is still a good option for bigger more experienced riders. This seems like a scooter our kid can really grow into and that has the capability of being ridden over different terrains. The ok - size. Our kid is almost 7, and of slightly above average height. It is a bit too big for him, but he can still ride it and will be able to grow into it. The not so good - assembly. The instructions are severely lacking. If you are not familiar with braking systems for bikes/scooters be prepared to do a lot of YouTube watching. You will most likely need two people to put this together, especially when doing the rear brake assembly. The hex-wrench fit all but the two for adjusting the handles for the breaks. You cannot assemble this with just a hex-wrench that comes with it, you will need pliers and a socket wrench at minimum...and lots of patience!!! ... show more

If you don’t mind a challenge, go ahead and buy one. The scooter arrived right on time but there was a small hole in the box and it did look like it was halfway taped up. Once out of the box more problems started. They wrap the frame (which still had scratches) in bubble wrap then add parts to it making it nearly impossible to get the wrap off. Then it was missing one screw and 2 nuts. Luckily it had one of the screws and off to Lowe’s I went to match everything up. Now the brakes. Holy crap these things are a pain in the rump to adjust correctly. In an apparent way to cut costs they have left off the center support that attaches to the frame to keep the brakes in the middle of the tires. Old photos have them but newer photos online do not. After about 2-3 hours between two people we are done. I’m going to try and bribe my local bike shop to help me figure this out or just add some cheap new brakes. And the rear wheel is warped which doesn’t help either. FYI. I purchased this for a 49” eight year old and it’s a little big. You might want to wait till whomever is going to use it is about 55”.
