  • Worst instructions ever
Color: Black
UPDATE: On the 3rd time riding this scooter, the brakes malfunctioned and one whole brake pad actually ripped off. This very well could have been our fault because there are not detailed instructions on the brakes. I contacted the company to try to get a replacement brake piece. I think there was a language barrier and we couldn’t get the customer service rep to understand the problem even when photos were sent. To my total surprise, they ended up sending us a brand new scooter. I misunderstood and thought they were only sending the one part so this was quite the surprise. I’m very happy about this because now we have a whole scooters worth of replacement parts. Original Review: Overall this looks like a nice scooter and should do my son for a while. The first thing we did was remove the tacky stickers from it and it immediately looked more expensive. The instructions that came with it are the absolute worst instructions I have ever seen. They do not include a list of parts, a list of tools needed or actually describe the steps. We are handy people, I assemble things all the time with very little effort. I've assembled many bicycles and scooters in the past. The video was useless as to how to install the handlebars, it only covered brakes and had only cheesy music, no actual verbal instructions so you had to kind of guess what the guy was doing. The guy in the video was using tools that were not included nor listed as needed for the job. The videographer also did not zoom in when he should have to show the small details. It took us 10 times longer than it should have to get this thing put together because the directions suck so bad. It's too bad because I would have given this 5 stars if there were even halfway decent instructions. It is a nice scooter especially for the price but be prepared to get extremely frustrated with the assembly. ... show more

  • Good scooter, assembly is challenging
Color: Black
The good - nice looking scooter, that seems very sturdy and it is a good height off of the ground. The platform is a great size - width and length - for kids size feet, who are just learning. It is still a good option for bigger more experienced riders. This seems like a scooter our kid can really grow into and that has the capability of being ridden over different terrains. The ok - size. Our kid is almost 7, and of slightly above average height. It is a bit too big for him, but he can still ride it and will be able to grow into it. The not so good - assembly. The instructions are severely lacking. If you are not familiar with braking systems for bikes/scooters be prepared to do a lot of YouTube watching. You will most likely need two people to put this together, especially when doing the rear brake assembly. The hex-wrench fit all but the two for adjusting the handles for the breaks. You cannot assemble this with just a hex-wrench that comes with it, you will need pliers and a socket wrench at minimum...and lots of patience!!! ... show more

  • Good scooter
Color: Black
The scooter itself is good and works just like it should. If I didn't have experience working on bikes, this would have been tough to put together and get working well.

  • Ok scooter, assembly issues
Color: Black
Assembly had more issues than expected. Tires came flat so you need a bike pump. Brakes were terribly out of adjustment so had to set both of those. If you don't know how to adjust a linear pull (v-brake) system, just go ahead and take this to a bike shop for assembly. Tools are included for assembly, but not the right size for brakes so you have to have your own. Also, wheels are so far out of true (bent) that you can't set the brake pads as close as they should be otherwise they rub the rim as it wobbles by. So, you either set pads at wider spacing and get poor breaking, or you have to true (straighten) the rim first, which was very difficult on the 12 inch back wheel. Portion of the frame that holds the back wheel is a little out of alignment so the wheel angles slightly. Lastly, the handlebar grips are trash. Replace them immediately. ... show more
