This is a 32" dark gray indoor window roller shade that fits the window well in one of our bedrooms. It is light-weighted, blocks light quite well, easily installed--about 10 minutes, can be easily pulled up and down, and well made with nice polyester linen fabric. The package came with all the necessary accessories, including brackets, screws, pegs and a handle. When I took the photos the sun was shining on the window, on both sides of the shade there was some light coming through. Right now we are happy with that but might add some curtains to completely block the light if need be. Judging by the fact that it (the fabric) does not let light go through, I believe it blocks UV. Further, as it's not that hot in our area yet, we cannot tell if it blocks heat, but I take the seller's words for it for now. There are two identical windows in the room, already placed an order for the second shade yesterday! Overall we are very happy for ordering it and would highly recommend this great value product to anyone who needs a decent window shade.

I don’t know who came up with the brackets for these, but they are fantastic! Almost a no brainer to install, just level and attach anywhere along the entire thing. What’s so great is that it allows you to slide the whole thing to fit perfectly in your space. The shade itself is a woven fabric over vinyl, with great light blocking ability . I opted for the exterior install, so I could give the window a more elongated shape, but these will fit so perfectly inside the frame, too. I got a second set to do two windows.

This product is very impressive in its design as well as quality and simple install! My wife and I were looking for an inner shade for our bedroom window which already had a set of curtains but was not installed high enough to keep some of the top light out into the room when we prefer it dark for sleeping and relaxing. Given this, an inner shade seemed to be the answer and also allow a better look to the window when closed. I am pleased to say that this AOSKY linen roller/shade came in a variety of colors, and I was amazed at just how beautifully and perfectly it matched our already painted window moldings and frame. It was nearly an exact match! The size options were really vast with all the widths coming in 1" increments giving the accessibility for a perfect fit which is exactly what we received...a perfect fit. The material is quite nice and soft but firm enough to be easily pulled up and down with the handle. The handle is very convenient and easy to clean and goes on by sliding it onto the bottom edge of the roller. Installation was not difficult at all and the instructions for that are included and fairly easy to read and follow. Two brackets placed at the ends (or near to the ends as I did) are attached via screw holes and screws at the top and bottom with plenty of options for varying surfaces. Once the screws are in brackets are sturdy the design for the unit to attach is very clever with a tilt into the brackets at the top and a clicking in place where they are secure. It is essential to be delicate with the unit when pulling down and pushing up as there are some plastic aspects of the bracket that if under enough pressure may alter, but overall, this design is really easy to install and strong enough and durable enough to hold sturdy. The look is fantastic, and all the other components are all made with good quality material. I am very impressed with all features of the product and would absolutely recommend as my wife and I are already thinking about placing these in several more locations in our home. Good price for a good product for us equals value!

We just put some nice motorized shades in a room that guests occasionally sleep in, but the door to the room has a glass window in it, which means even when the motorized shades are drawn, we still get a lot of light in the room. Given the design of the door, I didn't want to spend a lot on a pull shade that we would use infrequently. So I found this one and liked the simple look, so wanted to give it a try. It comes in a ton of widths and so they had one that seemed right for us. Upon opening the package, I was surprised by the decent quality. The shade is very simple looking (which is good) and the mechanism is basically covered by a simple white (in our case) housing. Installation was relatively straightforward if you are at all handy. I just installed all the motorized ones, so this was much simpler. We are hanging this on a hollow door, so I didn't use the anchors. I just made sure the two included brackets were at the same height and then marked out the location of the holes and drilled pilot holes. The brackets were then simple to mount. I did run into one issue that I mounted the brackets too wide. They were certainly within the width of the shade itself, but at the end of the shade unit there is a bit of plastic that protrudes into the area where the shade clicks into the mount. It took me a while to figure out what was going on, and eventually upon realizing this, I had to remove the brackets and screw them into place again a bit closer to each other. That was a bummer since I now have 4 extra unused pilot holes. They are covered up by the housing, so not a big deal, but the instructions should have been clearer about how far in from the edge you need the brackets to be. Once I figured that out, it was easy to snap the unit into the brackets, slip on the pull handle and we are good to go. They do a nice job of light blockage. There's a bit of leakage from behind, but that's because I couldn't get these much wider than the window itself -- or the shade, when pulled, would interfere with the door knob. So overall, I'm very happy with them. But the instructions could be clearer and precise. Hence the 4 vs. 5 stars.
