The grips on this work great, and once you have it all set up the magnifying glass works well enough. The problem is that it is a bit hard to get everything where you need it. The joints aren't quite as flexible as I would like them to be, and sometimes getting the right angle is hard with the limited joints. It's good pricing but it is relatively small with a small metal stand. Some pins are too small to unlock and turn. It's only good for occasional use, beginners and kids. It's not good enough for professional and regular uses.

I purchased this to hold false eyelashes while the glue dries a bit. I have a similar item that I use for this purchase. The only problem I have is that the Alligator Clips are less quality and not smooth, therefore it crimps the lashes.

Can't say it's any more or less than what I expected for the price. Serviceable tool, but upon arrival there was already a scratch in the lens, and the lens mount came loose after just a couple twists. I was able to tighten it, but seeing the very thin metal on the base leaves me expecting I'll be needing to mend it or trash the whole thing before much longer. ... show more
