  • Great Stove
The media could not be loaded. Only issue I’ve had with it was the grate that the wood sits on warped after the first use and wouldn’t let the ash tray come out. I pried it up with a long pry bar and got it working again. Second use same problem so I took a 2.5lb sledge and fully flattened the back wall of the ash tray so there’s nothing left to catch on. I keep a little crows claw style pry bar with it now. I’ve used it on 3 separate camping trips in North Carolina , Arkansas, and Indiana. Also use it at home on my wood deck. I added a chimney hat, a damper, fiberglass heat wrap, and a thermoelectric fan. Looking forward to seeing how well it works camping in some snowy conditions this winter. Update: going into my third winter using this thing and it hasn’t let me down yet. ... show more

  • I burn candles in it
I use it as room heater i burn candles in a breadpan even candles emit a bit of gas so i hope secondary burn is burning it I used sterno also in a breadpanand the sterno gets hotter than they would in a sterno stove maybe because the stove traps the heat or maybe it emits a secondary gas too i dunno Im gonna try alcohol burners next.... I also use stove fans.....stuck it in a chiminea and it takes maybe just a bit more time but works great for temp heat better than flower pot heater ... show more

  • Great!
This little stove is so versatile and handy you can do a lot with it. Over the winter we used it to keep my daughter's apartment warm & toasty and this summer it's being fitted with copper tubing around the piping to cook out with and run fresh hot water to the outdoor bath/shower. We've had it for several months and I have no complaints at all. You can find this and other great items I buy in my Storefront! ... show more

  • Solid stove but the glass didn’t survive it’s first use
Solid stove that works efficiently. I like the extensions for the legs as well. It kept me and my dog warm all weekend. My only complaint is that the glass split down the middle while camping out on the ice during an ice fishing trip during its first use. I was able to still use it through the night while the temps got in the negatives, I just had to feed wood through the top of the stove. Still waiting to hear if the seller can send me a replacement piece of glass as I’d prefer to not return the whole stove. ... show more

  • Heats well but spills a lot of smoke into the room. Not recommended to use with wall exit.
I have had this installed in my small 100 sq ft off grid workshop. It has been in use for two winters now. I am no stranger to wood stoves (heat our main house with one and have another one installed in a cabin on our property). This stove is difficult to get a draft going, and always spills a lot of smoke into the room any time I open the door. I have to clean the stove pipe nearly every time I use it. Once it is going, it heats the little space very well, but unfortunately, every time I add wood, it fills the room with smoke, and I need to open doors and windows to clear the air, losing a lot of hot air from my workshop. Its a shame because it fits the space well and on very little wood (can heat the workshop for hours on a single split 10" diameter log) once it is going. The overall issue I believe is just that the pipe diameter is too small. This is the only stove with this type of pipe I have ever used. I have it installed with an elbow to go out a wall rather than the ceiling, which may also be lending to the problem with getting a draft going. When I first fired it up outdoors with just the included straight pipe, it seemed to work well. I find using this stove to be very frustrating as every time I go to use my workshop in the winter, I seem to spend the first 30+ minutes just trying to get this stove going, rather than working on what I intended to be working on. I will probably be replacing it, unless I can come up with a solution to improve the draft. ... show more
