For the design of this dresser, it is properly stable and actually very easy to assemble and came with all the proper pieces and hardware to put it together as well as some extra screws to ensure you don't come up short which is always nice to see. Calling it a dresser feels a bit wrong, though at approx 16"x12"x31". The size is really more of a side table (which is what I intended to use it as so no complaints there, just feels odd to call it a dresser in these dimensions). I actually bought 2 of these for both sides of the bed and they do make nice nightstands. On both of the items that I bought, I saw a bit of an imperfection in the laminate on the top piece which isn't really noticeable unless you're examining it. Also, there is some discoloration in a place or two of the metal where the coating was either poorly executed or the metal had oxidized a bit before being coated (added pic in the review). Also, the crossbar that stabilizes across the back is inverted in how it should be riveted together in that the pieces are made to slot together to minimize the space where they cross but the pieces are connected back to back instead of the indents being placed together as they're meant to be. This doesn't really impact functionality or anything, but just odd to see a piece misassembled like that. The drawers are basically just cardboard covered in fabric so they're good for lightweight applications, but don't plan on storing anything heavy in them even though the frame is good and can hold a good bit. I very much like these for my purpose, but I'm not entirely sure that it is worth the $47 for a few dollar store type drawers, a metal frame, and a single piece of particle board.

This 5-drawer dresser is small and can fit nicely in small rooms. Assembly is mostly straight forward. The directions can confuse you as it has to assemble most of it, and then rotate 180 on one upright. Some spots on the manual have an error, but just looking at the pieces and completed look you can put it together easily. It has all the parts you need. It includes a simple wrench and a small screwdriver. The parts bags do have some redundant numbers. I’m not sure why the same screws are separated into separate bags. The drawers were not as expected. It does say “Fabric Dresser”. I did not know that meant each drawer is made of some type of thin board covered in fabric. Each drawer is actually folded flat. There is a thin material, like a tarp, that is the bottom of each drawer. There are insert panels that you press into the drawer to have it hold its shape. So you just have the drawer pop open and gently press the inner support into the drawer and it form each drawer. I found it best to slowly press each corner down a little at a time while rotating to each corner. I was afraid of pressing on the center or too fast and having the panel bend or break. The drawers just slide into the frame. There are small metal lips on each side a tiny stopper tab at the rear. They are lightweight. I have never had a drawer like this so I do not know how much weight they will hold. I would guess a few pairs of jeans would be about the max weight load per drawer. I’m not for sure. It also has adjustable screw in feet to help level it if you need to. It looks like you can leave those off if you want. It also has straps to anchor it to a wall so it doesn’t tip over. I skipped that last step as I am not worried about it tipping over. The parts bags seem to have extra pieces of everything. So if you do drop or lose a piece, there is another to replace it with.

From a utilitarian perspective, this is really helpful for me in my room. Not too big, but it can hold lots of stuff. Wasn't so hard to assemble, and it even comes with disassembly instructions so I can pack it up and move it somewhere (although its not so big or flimsy, I'd just leave it put together). Given its the cheaper type which isn't made of a sturdy metal or wood frame, it doesn't seem flimsy and it doesn't bend, and without abuse it should hold up. The top wood part has a fine finish and its not as embarrassing as those awful plastic drawer things my family would buy growing up - but nobody will ever be impressed by this. I thought the two straps for mounting it to a wall were a bit weird given the feet BUT it did come with not only screws to go into the wall but those plastic things that you put the screws in that hold it there better - I could see that being useful.

This is a great way to get a set of drawers quickly without having to spend a lot of money. It was easy to assemble and held all my delicates nicely. I love that it has a nice look to it and doesn't look like it's cheaply made
