I like photography as a hobby, so I don't really have a lot of professional equipment, however I do like to add, every now and then, a few additional items to go with my Cannon EOS Rebel 5 camera. I got this mini tripod grip to help with more stable pictures when having a surface to place it and especially with selfies, so I can arrange the camera and jump in to join the shot! It has a very easy installation process and I had no problems pairing it with my camera. My favorite part was the wireless remote control shutter!

For a somewhat larger vlog camera like the canon r50 and any rebel series, this is a little too flimsy for the weight of the camera to go hands free. Great for walking while vlogging and also I'm sure this would work great with the smaller vlogging cameras like the canon g7x of sony zv series point and shoot cameras

Don't buy this tripod. There's absolutely no in between when it comes to using the tripod. You're either holding it or you have to completely unfold it. Can't have it open slightly or adjust how much you want to unfold the legs. Returning this product.

This device works as advertised, however its usefulness is somewhat limited. The bluetooth control functionality takes a little more than the instructions correctly describe. Once you have it working, it works as expected, and the range is very good. The tripod is somewhat limited by the weight of the lens you use - there is no way to counter-balance larger lenses. As a "stick" grip, it works and is somewhat more convenient for taking video than holding a DSLR by its normal handholds, however, again the lack of a counter-balance becomes an issue. In conclusion, this makes setting a DSLR up for video a little more do-able, but not quite what I would call convenient. For this price I would probably just use a cheap tripod and a remote.

The media could not be loaded. I love my Nikon Z50, and use it all the time. I'm a bit of a camera collector, and have lots of different ones, but for one reason or another I just tend to grab my Z50. I think it's because of the ergonomics. So, I'm really happy to pair it with this grip with a remote built in that's detachable, that doubles as a tripod as well. I like the size of the grip, and find it easy as well as comfortable to hold. The buttons on the remote are well laid out, and take five Seconds to learn. The connectivity between remote and camera is flawless, and works for me every time. Setting it up is super easy, and the camera recognized the remote almost immediately. The shutter release for taking pictures is excellent, and all the function buttons work flawlessly. The record button for video is just as responsive, and basically everything on it works perfectly. I did try it with my Nikon Z6 as well, even though it says that it's not included as part of the cameras that it's compatible with, and I can confirm that it does not work with my Z6. That's because the Z6 has a different remote model that it is compatible with, and this remote is like a replacement for the Nikon ML-L7 which you have to buy for the Z50. I've obviously only tried it with a Z50, because that's the only Nikon compatible camera that I have that it works with. I can't speak to how well it works with the other ones that it is compatible with, but with my Z50, it's pretty perfect. I'm not a big fan of the white color, because white gets dirty very fast, especially when you're constantly handling it. I would have much preferred it to be black, or dark gray, but that's a subjective viewpoint. All In all, it functions really well, is easy to set up, and easy to use. if you're looking for a hand grip like this for filming yourself, or for remote functionality, I think you'll be plenty happy with it. I definitely recommend it.
