Our well water is extremely mineral laden (app 500 TDS). Installed a filter in line from well to house which uses these filters. They are changed monthly and yikes - black from minerals in 4 weeks. Easily changed but have to really push them in or we get a bit of leakage which stops in a few minutes. They work quite well filtering out any impurities and are happy with them. The filter quality is really good for the value of the price we paid. The water quality and taste is clean and clear. I have ben using these water filter cartridges for about 7 years . They take out most sediment and the water ends up having a good taste and is clear .Will continue buying .Good filtration system. A little expensive
