The tools worked well for carving pumpkins for the kids, and allowing us to remove extra insides for the kids to have a little more hands on with help of adults (age 10, 16, 18). Only two slight complaints. First, the handles are slightly flimsy. Second, the kit really needs to include a pair of scissors to help cut some of the ribbons on the i side of the pumpmin creared by the serrated sides of the spoon. These tools feel sturdy and sharp. I like the variation it brings. My kids and I are going to be able to do a great some really great designs with these tools. I don’t think it’s dangerously sharp so that the kids (5 and up) can use them with adult supervision. Overall, these are going to be used for many Halloweens to come. ... show more
