This pumpkin carving kit is very sharp and each tool is light and feels nice on the hand when carving. It has all the tools you will need for basic and more creative designs. I like that every tool has an obvious purpose and nothing seem unnecessary which keeps the cost down. Tools come in a nice orange carrying pouch.

The tools worked well for carving pumpkins for the kids, and allowing us to remove extra insides for the kids to have a little more hands on with help of adults (age 10, 16, 18). Only two slight complaints. First, the handles are slightly flimsy. Second, the kit really needs to include a pair of scissors to help cut some of the ribbons on the i side of the pumpmin creared by the serrated sides of the spoon. Good as a great little kit to start with, but may upgrade to a more sturdy set for more detail work.
