Frustrated by just a couple simple CFL bulbs in my garage (see before and after pictures), I installed (4) of these dual-strip LED fixtures. Wow, very bright but not too bright! Now, when I open the hood of my car I can clearly see the engine and do service work. Instant on, no delay. Works well in cold temps. Easy to install if you are handy with electrical work. Need to be hard wired. Note: I have two illuminated 3-way switches controlling power to these lights and they did not interfere with the switches at all, worked perfectly. Packaging was great too; I was concerned after reading some of the older reviews but the manufacturer did a good job of modifying the packaging to fully protect each of the fixtures. No damage even though there were a few dings and one small hole in the external box. Will buy more for my basement next! ... show more

After a ton of research looking for new fixtures for my new pole barn - I picked these lights. I'm very happy I did. The packaging from the factory was done well, and no damage due to UPS shipping ! My pole barn is 30' x 44' with a 12' ceiling. The ceiling is covered with white steel (tin siding). After super simple installation (the lights are very light and super simple to flush mount with drywall screws) the space is light up like a showroom. I thought it was a well built light fixture. Easy install. You dont need to disassemble the the entire light just to hang and wire up. Two easy to handle screws hold on middle section. Nice and bright. I used them in a garage

Have had eight two tube 40 watt fluorescent lighting in our three car garage for thirty years. During the winter months, they would sometimes be hesitant in starting, but lighting up after a few minutes. Finally, through this frustration, starting exploring the purchase of new lighting. Really did my homework and reviewed the best LED shoplights on the market. These Antlux 50 watt were highly rated and to me the most modern looking. Purchased eight, came quickly via UPS, and with a neighbor installed these with ease. We could not believe the difference. The old fluorescent put out enough light to view items in our three car garage, but flipping the switch on these fifty watt Antlux lights was like standing outside in broad daylight. They brightened up the entire garage. These lights are phenomenal. Almost a direct replacement for my old 4” wraparound fluorescent lights. One screw hole lined up, another did not. Does come with wall anchors but they didn’t work well; invest in some better ones to use. Light is wow, bright. Much cheaper than replacing a ballast and putting up with old tech. These come on instantly (I have a motion switch on this, so that’s likely what shortened the life of the old ballast). ... show more

I don’t recommend this product. Purchased 8 of these lights in December 2018 and installed them in the spring of 2019 in my garage. They worked great at first. However, after 3 years of use, only 3 of them still work. The manufacturer claims they have a 5 year warranty on these lights. Unfortunately, after repeated attempts to contact the company to make a warranty claim, I have not received a reply to my inquiry. So, if you purchase these lights, expect them to last 3 years or less and not to get any help from the company with a warranty claim. The 16 fluorescent fixtures in my detached garage were at the end of their life after 30+ years of service. Many were slow to come on once the switches were flipped, some never came on even with new bulbs. So I bought 16 of these babies and installed them slowly over a week's time using my scaffolding. It is difficult working overhead for long hours in the sixth decade of life, so I took my time. I am quite please with how the all come on instantly and provide a very bright clean light.
