Sweet
A father's day gift. I fish for big catfish. Anything too large for this net will require a gaff, and I carry one. I doubt it will hold up for saltwater, but I am pleased as pudding.

I love how large the net is to catch my guinea fowl
This net is huge!!! It comes with the handle unattached, but you simply screw it together. It has some weight to it because it’s meant to catch and hold really heavy fish. However, I got it to catch my chickens and guineas. I bought a net last year that was meant for poultry and it didn’t last. It just couldn’t handle to weight of heavy guinea fowl or rooster. This net is much larger and the netting fabric is so much more durable. The handle is well built and strong. It’s also much longer than my old one. Being a larger net allows me to be able to catch 2 guineas at the same time. They are such difficult birds to catch!! This net is going to last me a long time. Yes, it is pricey but if it lasts, it’s worth it.

Really nice, very large net
I really love this fishing net. I like the rubber netting, I feel it is better on the fish and easier to deal with than regular netting. The handle of the net is strong and durable and very long when extended. The net opening is a huge 27 inches and 27 inches deep, that is a big net. I like the color of it, its a nice looking piece of fishing equipment, and will work great for any fish I catch, especially catfish. With all that being said, the sales page for the net stated an 85 inch reach and a 55 pound capacity. I put a 50 pound weight in the net and tried to lift it. The frame of the net where it connects to the handle started bending and the weight was not even close to coming off the ground. I had to stop because I didnt want to break it, and I had to bend it back into shape, weakening the tubular metal frame. This was likely more weight than Ill ever need to lift, but still less than the stated capacity, so this was disappointing. I still love this net, but hope I didnt ruin it and I wish it had a more realistic weight capacity listed, such as 25 or 30 pounds
