I purchased this coat to battle the chill I always feeling in winter weather. The coat is lightweight, (battery pack is to left side), so tends to pull that direction, but once it's zipped up its hardly noticeable. It does take a few moments for the coat to warm up, but it a toasty experience after. I got it in a 2XL so I could layer underneath it accordingly. It hasn't been super cold yet, but for the just below 30's temps I have experienced it does pull its weight. The battery is specific to the coat and no one else's brand, so interchangeable battery packs with USB ports are out, but it keeps up fairly well. So I will probably purchase a back up battery for longer full time use. I purchased the coat in black, and it's not a big "puff" style coat which is nice. It does come with a removable hood that covers well and can be cinched tighter, slightly cinched elastic wrists, which cannot be adjusted, but are not super tight either. The coat covers over my butt, and has two adjustable cinching elastic bands along the bottom of the coat as well and the pockets are big to hold gloves and hat if needed. This Antarctica heated jacket is awesome! I had bought one for myself and it has kept me warm and happy the whole winter season! So this year for my boyfriend’s birthday I bought him one too since he’s been wanting a heated jacket and he really liked my jacket. I got him a size Large and it fit him perfectly. The cut and style is fashionable! Quality and construction of the jacket is amazing. We love the 5 heating zones and the battery pack last for a very long time! Pockets are deep and zipper quality is great! The jacket is easy to use with 3 level of heating, high( red), medium (blue), and low (green). For my rides or daily use, it’s lightweight enough to wear as an inner shell under my gear and keeps me warm without feeling bulky. The heat settings are easy to use, and the included power bank lasts plenty long for my rides. I was surprised how comfortable and well-made it feels—great fit and doesn’t restrict movement. It’s made my cold morning commutes so much better. Highly recommend it if you need warmth without extra bulk! If you have an electric hand warmer in the right pocket it balances the weight of the battery out great. There's not much I don't like about the jacket. But if I had to say one thing I'm not fond of its the size of the battery pocket. It is quite annoying to get the battery in or out of the battery compartment pocket in the jacket, it kinda gets me mad often. But luckily I don't have to charge it too often. It's been really cold here in Colorado this year, and this jacket has stood its claims, and kept me pretty warm this winter. It's perfectly wind proof, extremely light weight (the battery weighs at least twice as much as the jacket.) The warming feature I feel honestly doesn't get as hot as the temperature claims it does, but I don't think any heated product gets as hot as it claims to be. When i have layers on the max temperature doesn't matter though, it all feels great and toasty! And it's the perfect jacket for any occasion! It's very thin material so I don't know if it would be the best for snowboarding or doing construction work in, as it might rip pretty easily, but any other uses its perfect!! ... show more

Received the jacket minus the actual battery pack. How are you going to ship a heated jacket to a customer without the main part to make it heat up. Other than that the jacket is true to size and lightweight.

Order a size up. My husband is usually a perfect mens M in t-shirts and I got him a Large in this jacket after reading the reviews. It fits him perfectly with room to wear a sweater if he so chooses.
